#manager v

Spoke to D for around 3 hours today about how we were feeling about the new manager testing positive for covid, work stuff and working from home arrangements.

He said he missed when it was just us three and both of us would talk to each other when lone working and he actually felt supported. That was nice to hear as sometimes I felt like I wasn't good enough. He told me our manager V asked him to take care of me. He goes you don't need me. My manager is sweet for looking out for me. He knows all about my MH whereas D doesn't but I have been opening up about anxiety. So now he asks how I am (he always has asked) but it's different now and he seems more attentive.

At the end of the call he's like "Georgina, put your feet up and loose women is on now" so i said nah i don't watch that, I'm gonna watch something else". He goes "eww you're disgusting" so i laughed and said shut up sarcastically. 😂😂 We got the same mind. This was jokes.

I called my manager after to update him and let him know we will be working remotely. He was surprised the new manager tested positive but I said there's way too many staff in the office.

Last week I only took one pizza but my brother wanted some.

The agency manager said the new manager was a bit annoyed D took 2 pizzas last week but didn't say anything to him. I'm like why?? It's for clients and staff and we had 40 pizzas delivered . We have 18 large pizzas left today!!!!!! I took 3. I asked the agency manager. I don't think she wanted me to. I don't care if she tells the new manager. I told her I'm not taking any pizza next week so it balances out. I only had two slices at lunch.

New manager wanted us to take 1 pizza each... He's so passive aggressive its pissing me off. He wasn't happy with david taking 2 but he didnt say shit to him. Possibly intimidated by him.

The regional head is actually scared of D lol. 🤣👍🏼 Honestly me taking 3 is cause D is a bad influence. Joking hahah. But he definitely influenced me. If i had just started now i would have only taken one and been quiet lol

It will also be my 5th workout in a row lmao. The gym is closing at 7pm and I'm hoping to get there by 6.15pm the latest after work. I won't do any cardio except maybe a 5 minute uphill walk warm up.

I officially finish 5pm but I was talking to D about all these changes at work. We was talking about our manager and how its bad they've pushed him out of the hostel etc and D was like you're gonna miss him? I said yes it's sad. ☹ Manager will still come back though as he has to do our supervisions. I told D we should say we're stressed and need one next week face to face lol. But then he might do them on the phone...

D keeps saying how they'll force us to go on rota. I'm worried as most stuff he's said has happened. He's been in the game so long he knows how shit rolls. At least for now they can't touch us till March but then what.

He was telling me to sit in the back with the new manager. He said she seems to like me. So I asked if he's trying to get rid of me? Loool. It kinda felt like it but I like where I sit. I mentioned the new staff coming in and sitting at our desks but firstly they'll be agency and should be different hours to us. When he said he doesnt care if they sit at his desk, I was like no. I'll say this us my desk, this is yours, we sit here these days and times, any other times feel free to sit down.

Today was busy. I showed the new manager around the whole building and one side is 6 floors and she was really struggling whereas I flew up and down lol. She is a larger lady but so am I but I workout.

I told D I saw a job in my area. It's a pilot scheme till 2022 but its with travel in London and its lower salary than i get but its with ex-offenders. Our service os now moving away from ex-offenders to homeless. He said i should negotiate but I said i don't know if I'm ready to leave the hostel yet. I swear we are the same person when it comes to change 🤣 To be honest I prefer working with ex-offenders and he agreed.
