I feel like he wanted a break from sugar which is why it was meant for us to meet

He whispered sweet nothings about wanting dip with this chip

How a glass of water would calm the saltiness a bit

What flavors best compliments hoagies, how hard it is not to eat the whole bag in one sitting

He enjoyed chips for a little while before calmly admitting

Chips weren’t that great and even though he didn’t try enough of them to get to this place

He decided to give them up based on the taste

He dropped them like a bad habit, left the last bag laying on the floor

Didn’t even have the decency to say “I don’t want these anymore .”

No explanation, no understanding of where things use to be

Just a reminder, I said that chip was me

So if we ever cross paths again this will be a running joke
