Malurt & Bruce Springsteen: Hungry Heart
Malurt is a Danish rock band that was starting to gain some success when Bruce came through Denmark for The River tour.
As Michael Falch (Malurt's frontman) put it: "And then at the very end, Bruce comes on and the speakers almost explode due to the sheer power of his vocals. You could see the audience's jaws drop. Not in recognition of him as a star - a lot of Danes weren't aware of who Bruce was yet - but purely because of his voice." (translated from Danish).(X)(X)
