As I said in my previous post about shipping I was having trouble with the age differences in these ships.

But since Ixlan was probably twentyish when she was imprisoned she stayed twenty for thousands of years. Antonia is like 18-20 so they don’t have much of a biological age difference. When I’m going to write with them it will be Antonia trying to flirt with Ixlan and Ixlan not getting the hints. I can imagine them getting married and adopting their own little warriors.

For Chloliga I still want to do a forbidden love story. Maliga has stop aging and she can’t die of old age but she can die of magic or something like that (kinda like the fairies in fairy odd parents). Chloe is seventeen so it is kinda weird. Queen Abigail has some questions about her daughter’s love life but after getting to know Maliga she is ok with it. But the people of Norberg are not as happy with their future queen dating an ancient (formal evil) sea nymph from fork lore. After a while Chloe will have to chose between her kingdom or her heart.

These two ships will be quite good to work with. Ixlantonia being a slice of life with Ixlan and Antonia and their little warriors. And Chloliga being the opposite with a forbidden love and changing between love or her thorne.

Chloe/Alonso/Valentina - THREE

This story was inspired by a chat on discord, especially by @Mateo Potato.

 PLOT:

During the battle for Avalor, Chloe notices how close Valentina and Alonso are and gets worried about the engagement her mother Abigail arranged between herself and Alonso when they were children. She does not want to come between their established relationship.

When she first met Alonso after years apart when the official engagement was announced, she dreamt of a big romance with a Prince Charming. Valentina was coming along as Alonso’s girlfriend and Chloe just felt awkward in the new social situation.

When Val learns of Alonso’s engagement, she feels angry and sad. Why has Alonso not told her about it? And she also does not want to ruin a political alliance.  Alonso explained that with his past experience in flirting and short-time relationships he never expected his love for Val to grow so deep and strong. He thought that she would be long gone like all the others when the time for the engagement with Chloe came.

Val stays in Norberg with Alonso and Chloe gets annoyed by their vain attitudes. But over time they discover a joined hobby: Olaball. Val loves to play; Alonso loves to watch and Chloe is up for trying out a new sport. She is horrible at ball games but they have fun together. This ignites an idea in Alonso. If they are such a great team, why don’t be in a relationship together?

And while Alonso cannot help himself to still playfully flirt with Elena and Val with Manuel, all three stay loyal to each other in the end. Maliga even joins them occasionally.

After many discussions Alonso’s father is okay with the arrangement as long as the alliance between Norberg and Cordoba is sealed with a marriage and legitimate heirs.

Squirrels in the Hood

When Sunshine the cat departs in 2006, the second story balcony she occupied is very empty. Now that birds can be fed, the author does so, also attracting an array of hungry squirrels.
