‘‘ so.. what’s our mother like? ’‘

❝Excuse you?           Oh no. You are NOT going out looking like that. Get back in here.❞

Did that just really happen to him? ———- yes. yes it did. Jay watched Mal run off, stared at her back for like two seconds before the corners of his lips tug upwards. Oh, game on. And then his feet carry him into action, rushing after her. When he catches her she’ll be sorry for teasing him like that. Because now she ain’t getting any until he’s repaid her in kind. 

Jay’s arms wrap around her almost immediately, tugging her some closer against hims as he kisses her back. He hadn’t been planning to do anything other then get some work done –they threatened to take him off the tourney team if he didn’t get some grades up, mean.. and totally unfair– but effective. but, well, he would NEVER say no to Mal. Especially not like this. Her first kiss had been distracting, but the ones that followed even more so– he just gave in, didn’t bother fighing it too much. ‘’ you’re going to get me in so much trouble, M. ‘’ but the corners of his lips tug up, betraying that he didn’t really mind. lips were still practically pressed against mal’s anyway, as he kisses her again. His hand sliding down her back.

lips curl into a smirk at receiving those words, his right hand casually placed beside her head against the wall. he inches closer, had her practically pinned against the wall already as he chuckles. ‘’ you do, huh? well let’s have some more fun with that. ‘’ did he just totally take that as invitation? oh yes, that just happened. his body pressed against hers as lips lock, left hand rose to caress his thumb over her jawline gently.

     “Technically,” Ben began, an amused sort of smirk on his lips, “the reason you’re here is for me to decide if I want to get to know you.” It was a minor difference, but it also made all the difference. “But I’ll let you in on a not-so-secret secret, if you want?” His smirk never left his lips. “I’m not interested in a generic princess who has nothing to offer under their perfectly done hair.”

The words were met with a pensive silence as she studied the young woman before her. Her hair was almost the same unique color as her own eyes--an interesting antidote--she thought. “ Truth often is. ” she stated. Of course, there were happy truths too, but they often seemed to be outweighed by painful truths. “ One thing I have learned the hard way is that: not talking about it doesn’t make it less true. ”
