"Your highness,king vanaheim has sent his reply regarding arrange marriage between prince thor and the youngest daughter of King vanaheim. May I read it to you, your majesty?" Asgard's royal messenger asked.

"You may proceed." king odin calmingly replied.

"Dear All father,

Thank you for sending a message regarding arrange marriage between prince thor and Princess Astrid but I have to cancel your request as my youngest daughter has a distaste about your son and I share her sentiment too. We have heard alot of rumours about prince thor and his arrogant behaviour he has in court and in the kingdom. If this rumours is true then I'm sorry but I have to decline your request. My daughter will not suffer a selfish, childish and cruel husband for the rest of her life. Again thank you for the offer as it is an honour getting it from you. let us discuss this matter privately in the next meeting."

"Pff... honour my ass. Of course getting an offer from me is a huge deal! I'm the king of asgard and the protector of the nine realms!!!" Odin shouted throwing his gurnir down.

"Why can't anybody accept my offer? Thor doesn't even mind arrange marriages as long he has a good wife to satisfy him. I never hear any complaints or disagreements from him and most of all he's too excited to get married and settle down with a family. my son is a god of thunder for norns sake! He has a good reputation with his people. Those rumours are fake about my son. Those ungrateful snob women are no match for my son." Odin ranted angrily.

"You know that's not true husband." Frigga said who was standing next to him.

"What do you mean? Of course he has qualities of a king and I'm sure he will be a good husband and a father too."

"I think you are the only one who's deaf about the rumours in this kingdom. Let's see, our son is ignorant in politics and in education, he uses his fists more than his brain, won't listen to his tutors during lessons but instead flirting with the ladies,goes to tavern to cut classes with his bad Influenced so called warrior friends , embarrases himself during feast in front of the ambassadors and the council,never attends to the council meetings, the problems gets worse every time he goes to the village to solve them and most importantly causing chaos with other realms so it's an excuse to start a war when others are trying to find a way to end it and now the whole nine realm only thinks that thor's a barbarian warrior , not a good king. He has alot to learn from his mistakes my love. Giving thor the throne soon is not a good idea. Plus making him marry someone at this moment only going to make it worse. His wife will suffer the consequences that he's going through." Frigga said finishing her speech.

Odin was quietly thinking about his wife's point which was very true. He made a mistake by spoiling thor rotten and letting him get away with anything when he was supposed to punish him for every mistakes he caused.

"What do you propose I should do Frigga?"

"I know you should step down the throne as your odinsleep might come anytime soon. But giving thor the throne will bring such a disaster and all nine realms in chaos."

"Balder is too soft to be king, bragi will only think about protecting asgard but nothing else, tyr's like thor but worse than I thought."

"Which brings only to one person. Loki." Frigga said.

"And my answer is no!" Odin slammed his hand down.

"He has everything that a king should have. He's the reason why we don't have chaos in the council meetings. His intelligence and good problem solving is what we need to bring across the nine realms and asgard too."

"Loki is good with intelligence but his battle skills are horrible and he uses magic for battle which no other members in court supports to it. Nobody would want a man using women skills on the throne. He's sensitive like balder and a coward too!"
