I know I can be a difficult person to love. I'm moody and ferociously emotional, usually experiencing the full gambit of emotions in their strongest, brightest form on any given day. I'm neurotic, but usually too lazy to do anything about the little bothers all around me. I avoid adult things like chores and errands bills and credit scores because I'm riddled with anxiety and self-doubt. I'm bossy, I'm opinionated, I'm hot-headed, I'm extra. But this guy... This wonderful man, this beautiful person makes every single one of those harsh realities a whole lot easier to manage. I rely on him for so much more than even he realizes. I read the other day about how Cancer-born men make great significant others - believe what you will (he doesn't, lol) but the description description perfectly outlines what it's like to be with Eric. Thus, even our relationship is written in the stars. He goes out of his way many, MANY times a day to make sure I am taken care of. "Are you hungry?" "Are you tired?" "Are you cold?" This man is one of the only people in the world that can soothe my temper when I'm angry. He can talk me out of any depression. He can teach me new things about the world and other worlds and tomorrow, and open my mind to thoughts and concepts far beyond the reach of my own feeble thinking. My life is wholly and completely better because I get to wake up beside him everyday. I am a better person because he pushes me to be so. I go about my day making decisions that have absolutely nothing to do with him and yet i still find myself wondering what he would do or what he would want me to do. In that way, he even cares for me when we are apart. Eric, thank you for being the most solid foundation I could ever possibly ask for. Please keep putting up with my crazy ass and I promise, we'll take over the galaxy together. I love you to the moon and back, darling.
