#making podfic

Thanks! My process is different every time and I'm not the best at figuring out what I really need to do to not have the sound go quieter or louder than I want. But I have a lot of fun with it.

I've recorded all of Sholio's Old Sodiers Die Hard. I record all in one go as much as possible an I make clicking sounds whenever I make an error, which allows me to edit the podifc quickly and easily because the clicking shows up different on the screen than regular reading.

I usually get someone else to make the cover for me. I just got the final cover today from @cassiope25 so now I need to go in and edit the album details, upload the cover to the mp3, and then send it off to the audoarchive for hosting. They'll send me back a link and then I'll make an AO3 post.

Well seems like a whole load of new people podficcing out there! Excellent!

I definitely recommend just throwing your hands in the air and giving podficcing a try; it really is so terribly worthwhile, and it can be so much fun to make!
