halloween is fast approaching now, isn't it? it's a holiday i do love a lot, but since awakening this kintype, it's been... less than ideal to think about. its not like i haven't dealt with a particular date doused in death in any other canons before, but unlike the levity i can face mid-august with there's no such closure for what happened on halloween in shibuya. we lost too much that day. i almost died. people i cared about did die. they aren't coming back. the scars still remain.
i wish i knew if nobara recovered or not. i'm not holding my breath for it. maybe she's hiding away somewhere just letting everyone think she's dead to get back at itadori for doing the same thing. it sounds like something she'd be damn proud of herself for thinking of. maybe she's biding her time so she can be a secret weapon at a critical moment... though i suppose the time for that has come and gone, huh. more likely than not, she's in the ground with everyone else who died that day. maybe this year on halloween, she'll come back as a ghost and haunt me. maybe mai will be with her. i wonder if they'd still argue in the afterlife. maybe someday, i'll get to know. for now, i might just have to face halloween on my own again.
