The most striking this about this cover is that she has makeup on for both images. So, what is the deal here? Does the first one have “too much” makeup? I swear, you cannot satisfy anyone in this world. Little to no makeup is bad. Too much makeup is bad. Well, maybe the person who makes these covers is bad. Do people have anything better to do? One can tell from this picture that both must have been photoshopped in some way, either to make her look good (as presumed in the smaller photo) or bad (as presumed in the larger photo). Such photoshopping techniques distort the reality of what people should look like: human beings. Yes, it may be hard to believe that celebrities do not look “good” without makeup, or “too much” makeup for that matter. However, everyone looks just like them without it. People should stop using these celebrities as models for what you should and should not look like in public. The upsetting thing is the amount of work it took to create this cover, ultimately accomplishing nothing for society’s well-being. If people employ journalists or writers for more productive work such as traffic or weather reporting, then this world would be less crazy. No, there is nothing “wrong with Britney.” She is fine the way she is. Leave her alone and do something worthy of your time, magazine journalists.
