Ghor Language (Star Wars: Andor) Ghor is a language with its “own rules and sounds and grammar and pronunciations”, and every single word spoken in Ghor by every background character has a meaning. One article even says ‘unlike Huttese’ Ghor ‘is one of the most fleshed-out constructed languages in all of Star Wars.’ This is significant, because Huttese, before Mando’a, was one of the front-runners for Star Wars fake languages.
My understanding of a quote by one of the main creators of the language is that the Ghor they built contains somewhere near 2000 words. However, much of this is not accessible to fans. Serafinawriter is working on separating and working out every single Ghor audio clip from Andor in order to figure out the language and turning it into something “functional and practical” that can be learned. Ghor is a fairly recent addition to the land of fictional languages you can learn, as the season of the show it appeared in only aired April 2025.
