7 :Whatās the first thing that changes when they realize they have feelings for the other?
After the pure denial they both will have, California would be nicer to Maine in hopes that the other girl would be nicer back. This would cause a strange effect where theyāre tensely polite to one another, though everyone thinks itās more fury and hatred.

Everyone is in shock. And very afraid. Jefferson has been reported screaming and fleeing to Oregon.

They never get to really see one another. They both are needed in their home states and theyāre not even slightly close enough to drive back and forth. Maine is also 3 hours ahead of California, so even calling and texting is hard, as they arenāt able to get to their phones at similar times.

If Dunkinā/New England things are real. Iāve had someone question me about this before, okay. Also, we have some weird things here so Jefferson would be 100% lost and Maine would be unhappy with his lack of knowledge.
8:Ā Nicknames? & if so, how did they originate?
Jefferson will call Maine anything from Elsa to Reina de Nieve to Maniac. The first two relate to herĀ ātitleā of ice queen, while the last one is a common name to call Mainers.
Maine, however, calls Jefferson things likeĀ āpetit frĆØreā,Ā āahkonimalā (s/he speaks calmly or soothingly),Ā āamakehsā (butterfly), orĀ āamalhahseweā (s/he dresses fancily). No, Maine has not told Jefferson what those mean.
21:Ā Who is more likely to start dancing with the other?
Jefferson is far more likely to pull Maine into a dance than the reverse. Sometimes itās older styles that he never got to see while in their prime but she did and he wantās to see a professional. Sometimes itās newer styles he wants to show her. Regardless, it ends in laughter and Maine swearing that next time sheāll punch him.
Albany/Augusta
13:Ā Who reaches for the otherās hand first?
Augusta. While heās a cold person, Augusta grew up with Maine, who used to bundle up with him and Portland as children to keep warm. Heās used to being touched, especially when itās cold out. That, and he likes how red Albanyās face gets. Also, heāll grab the wrist really often too (this is due to his fears of people just being gone one day).
25:Ā Who needs more assurance?
Both are in constant need of assurance. Theyāre both the younger brothers who have to do a lot of political work to and older brother who seems to have life figured out. If I had to pick, Iād say Augusta, only because Albany is more competent in the political/law field, where as Augusta feels like heās shown up by Portland in all fields.
28:Ā What do they do when theyāre away from each other?
For Albany, heās more likely to throw himself into his work. He misses Augusta, yes, but he also never gets anything done when Augusta visits. So heāll get as much possible done so the threat of work isnāt looming over him. Heāll also wander around, looking at things that remind him of Augusta, possibly for gifts.
Augusta, on the other hand, is very unhappy and grumpy. He doesnāt actually do his work unless itās an emergency and after a couple of visits, found it hard for him to sleep unless heās curled up against Albany, so he doesnāt have much to do. Heāll either text Albany or look through old photos of him, Portland, Albany, and Maine. If itās the season, heāll go hunting and fishing.
