LOVE second hand character building like this. like, i think its more interesting to not know the context here, but the way kūkaku phrases it is soo interesting like the context of the conversation has it phrased generally pleasant but kūkaku specifically being YORUICHI's close friend and kisuke being "urahara," someone she cant say no to for arguably a few different reasons depending on if there's another level of subtext or history or other past context is like. i SAY i dont want to know but thats a lie i really want to know, i always want to know how different soul reapers regard kisuke because so much of bleach is from the pov of people who know him firstly as hat n clogs, the weird shop-owner guy and not the fuckin founding head and former captain of twelve/old people r&d
