Monster High "continuity issues" I struggle w conceptualising.....
Ramses de Nile making Hexiciah Steam disappear by kidnapping him (and having a vampire named Count Gorelok imprison him) - Ghoulfriends books
Yk not that Ramses wouldn't do that, just that I don't understand how, even if Hexiciah later escaped anyway, all of this fits with the main lore of him getting lost in the catacombs expedition.
Still like, it's not impossible to consider both of these events canon.
Dedyet de Nile being found in the catacombs by Robecca VS coming back of her own after being an archeologist - Diaries VS Diaries Books
Like... I don't know how both events could fit together.... Like what, she was found but then said "srry gotta go" and then only came back some months later or something??? It sounds so weird unfortunately I don't think these two continuities meet..
The WHOLE lore from "The Legend of Shadow High"
I like some of it, cause I like to think the narrators-thing with shadow high can relate to the builders lore of MH, but then again that whole map with the random highschools, the implications monster are like, made to be scary/evil/horror and that's their nature, the absurd idea of a "Normie High"....
Idk the idea they were just made up stories that came to life fits EAH's world building but not MH's to me...
Like, the whole point of MH is that they're real monsters but they're nothing like what you've been told; but this makes it sound like normies are actually just right in fearing them, which makes the whole "it's ok to be different" message kinda odd? Idk this was a G2 book anyway so I guess we could just ignore it but yk...
