Impuhlshun is an energetic, impulsive beast—as his name would suggest. As smart and clever as he can be, he has little willpower or control over his own urges. He’s more likely to leap first before even considering that he could ask questions. After all, what’s the point of waiting? If he just goes and does the thing, then he’ll find out. Sometimes this gets him in trouble, and his poor rider Terri has to deal with the consequences. She’s tried keeping him reined in many times, and occasionally, he goes along and listens. But if his impulses are too strong, there’s nothing for it, really. Moordryd got tired of dealing with Impuhlshun’s rampant escapades. Though deep down, he didn’t want to kick him and Terri out, he didn’t have much of a choice. It was costing them too much money and trouble to keep him around, so he sent the pair on their way. Luckily, being on their own has done fairly well; though, it helps that Moordryd secretly sends them help.
Mahlyn is a maniacal and cruel, and cares about very little in the world. Well, all except for his rider, of course; he loves her to death...or, more like, to the death of others. Any who dare try to harm his rider will find their lives at risk, but Mal has yet to let him actually make do on his promises. Because he’s more readily compliant, Moordryd and the Dragon Eyes have been able to afford his presence better. He’s ferocious on the track, ruthless in jousts, and actually fares rather well in Drag-Ball. He’s a strong, brilliant, fearsome dragon who simply loves his girl and wants to keep her safe. Mahlyn thinks that Word wants to use him for War purposes...but he really doesn’t care. Especially since Mahlyn fears a war would put Mal in danger...
