König who isn't used to having pets always scared that his size would end up getting the animal hurt, its happened before.
In comes you, König's partner who lives on a gigantic plot of land where you raise and foster animals.
When König first visited your house he was greeted by your 10 month old great Dane puppy, Maverick. Maverick's long clumsy limbs, boundless energy and ears that look like he could fly with them becoming incredibly endearing to König and yet? Despite Maverick being the biggest dog König has ever encountered he keeps his distance.
One afternoon you had some errand running to do and König asked to stay behind because he didn't feel like going in public.
Errand running was uneventful but when you came back you see König sprawled awkwardly on your couch with Maverick on his chest. Maverick had no intention of leaving him alone.
"Liebling...your dog is very insistent on me petting him"
"You can he wont bite! Hes just kind of big and clumsy but hes got the sweetest personality, you'll love him!"
König nervously pets Maverick's gigantic head which now is resting on his chest as the puppy falls asleep on him.
Having Maverick on his chest makes König's anxiety calm down, having the dogs steady pressure on his chest helping him breath a bit easier and remain still.
Maybe being an Animal guy isn't so out of König's reach now.
