Was feeling kind of bummed out about my art the other day, so I went back to one of the earliest things that got me inspired to draw in the first place.
I had a Gameboy game called Magi-Nation, based on a trading card game. I never really figured out how to play the game (I was like, 8), but I had a strategy guide for the game that had pictures of all the cards in the back. I spent more time staring at the artwork and trying to copy it than I did playing the game, lolΒ
I really loved all the monsters, especially the hyrens. So, I try to keep telling myself that even if Iβm not always happy with what Iβm making, there might be an 8 year old out there that thinks itβs just the coolest, and itβs still worth making.Β
It was fun to just draw a dragon thing and not think hard about it again.
