My review:

This game was great! I loved the twists each character line had and the development of personalities throughout the plot lines! The art is super cute and the mix of adorable scenes with more depressing scenes creates a real scene of being hooked on the game. Each character has 2 endings - a sweet end (the romance end) and the friendship end, these stories alternate from each other around half-way through. The way each story links and expands the other stories is impressive. I recommend going in chronological order (through the items chosen) to fully understand the story and keep elements of mystery throughout.

My only two criticism are: Haru choosing to go back to presenting as male just to impress Aya -this seems rushed and out-of-character for them and makes little sense why they would choose to do this, as it was clear Aya liked them as they were - additionally this gender swap is not seen in any other routes, and that Ryu changes immediately in his route - I feel more build up could have been given and perhaps more show of both sides of Ryu throughout his story, and perhaps also more continuity of Ryu’s change to be linked into Kenji’s route.

Overall however, it is a great game with lovable and unique characters!
