hi um is your discord sever open to kind of newbie-Chuunibyou’s? I’m not sure if I’m totally a newbie per say but I don’t know a couple of the terms I’ve seen used on ur blog and also I’ve never actually been able to engage in Chuuni things fully irl or anything..I have a HUGE hyper-fixation on the term/trope (especially in media, I love Chuuni characters a ton and I’ve talked a bunch about the Chuuni trope and its ties to neurodivergence) and I identify hardcore with the term on a personal level but I’ve never really engaged w it with anywhere else (other than maybe alone in my head haha) so I think I’m just wondering what the expectations/rules are in the server or something like that? (sorry for the long-winded ask)
Of course you can join! we have all sorts of little buzzwords so it can be confusing, we get it- but everyone is SUPER friendly, and we need more members with an interest in chuunibyou! some of our newer members from tumblr are magical girls with very little knowledge of chuunibyou, but they feel accepted. so you already have a head start! honestly, the only expectation is to come into it all with an open heart and mind, and we are always happy to show newcomers the ropes.
