youre a minor pls dni dni dni dni dni dni dni dni dni dni dni dni larping as a 20 year old :////
Okay actual ask.
Who was the first other primordial you discovered in this life ?
...., What...? We are 20... at least in this life. I'm actually older then 13,800,000,000 but who's counting
Anyway, the first Primordial that I discovered in this lifetime was Chiara, the Primordial of Light! It's been a few years now and I'm very happy to know him.
I'm going to be going through all my old asks, as part of my return to Tumblr! Ask me anything, about magic or personal. Also, expect a lot of posts!
i hope it isn’t too much trouble and there’s no need to answer this but how did you get into contact with Nous and making a contract with an Aeon ?? If it’s too personal i apologize !!
Hi there Anon! So sorry I didn't get back to you sooner... I haven't checked Tumblr in eons, lol. Thought I'd respond to this though :)
1. The process of contacting an Aeon is fairly similar to contacting any other deity, atleast in my experience. When contacting Aeons, I find it difficult to hold long conversations with them. I've communicated with Nous a handful of times, mostly through either cartomancy or some form of dream. I started communicating with Nous every week (give or take) primarily through basic cartomancy, astral projection and lucid dreaming, by trying to summon THEIR presence or simply asking for THEIR insight on certain things (though, Nous isn't one for straightforward answers in my experience).
2. I'm not necessarily contracted with Nous, or any Aeon. Think of me as a magical freelancer; rather than consistently working under one specific deity, I use the abilities I already have to do whatever magical work that my senses tell me to do, or that I am requested to do by third-parties. The process of contracting under an Aeon would probably be a bit more complicated than other contracting processes depending on the Aeon.
This question wasn't personal, no worries :) I also apologize if I didn't answer this well, as I've been on a bit of a hiatus recently.
General update on my irl practice:
I've mostly managed to stabilize my wards so I have my territory nice and marked out.
I've only had to deal with one destroyed sigil so far and one instance of someone else with magic poking at my wards. (Hello to the blonde girl who found my mark on the bus, don't ask me how I know about you, my signs are literal eyes it's not rocket science.)
To-do list at the moment:
- Place secondary wards for safety in the graveyard, do a sweep of the area to make sure it's free of meddling.
- Renovate my Astral fortress, key it to an item in the real world and a place in the Outpost's Astral realms.
- Practice my aim, try to improve stamina since the drain on my energy for the wards is now permanent
- Explore the crossroads further, potential access point to the fortress if it proves safe

I love unreliable narrator as a trope but it gets such a bad rap for making investigative experiences more difficult. And like sure, that can still be awesome, but consider: Calvin and Hobbes is some mix of unreliable narrator and magic because of Hobbes's agency. Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions is unreliable narrator, not because we're ever in the dark about what's going on but because when we look through Rika's eyes, we see the fantasy as she sees it. I love that unreliable narration as much if not more than Higurashi type "you can't trust what you've been told as fact" narration.
