I bought and traded into the standard ur prowess deck minus jace and fetches. I swear if they don’t print the cards to make the deck stay viable post rotation without swiftspear and cruise I’m going to cry forever
I'm really happy because the Magic Standard deck I've been working on has actually been doing pretty well online. I hopped on the whole U/R Artifacts bandwagon as soon as 'Thopter and Ensoul Artifact were spoiled, and I've just been slowly tinkering with it for the past few weeks. It's a bit different from the other ones I've been seeing mainly in actual spells played. I'm kinda going the straight burn route for a possible early kill, but I play Stormbreaths and Scuttling Doom Engines for possible midrange stuff. I dunno, it kind of works. SDE is a nutso card though. The complete obliteration power of it combined with Shrapnel Blast is ridiculous. Thankfully it's not a very expensive deck, so I plan on building it and taking it to FNM fairly soon!
Broken. Wizards...what the...? Can you imagine this in a Selesnya deck? Can you see the havoc this could cause in a standard constructed game? I have a feeling Wizards is sleeping with Emmara Tandris. Seriously. With the amount of enchantments with such awesome characteristics, Enchantment-removal is becoming less situational and more of a mainstay. In any Selesnya token deck with a populate mechanic, this card is simply unfair. Sure, 6 mana's a lot, but with the abilities you get from it? I think this card should be banlisted, but that's just my personal opinion. Although, if you play Selesnya, it would be worth seeing the face of despair on your opponent when this hits the field and he has no enchantment removal in his deck (or even sidedecked).
