[ ✨ ] what aesthetics or symbols do you reference when writing your muse? are these backed up by canon, if your muse comes from a canon? is there any specific relevance to these choices?

ulysse: i don't write ulysse much, but when i think about her in fallen hero, i think of shrinking?? ulysse makes herself so small and bland. she's in a lot of pain, and that feels like a chest-tight choking sensation to me. does this make sense idk?? sometimes you just get A Feeling about an oc, y'know?

teddy: i'm just getting a feel for teddy in my writing, but she's super casual, cozy, a little shy, lonely but trying not to make it anyone else's problem. i think these things are supported in canon, but not deeply (which is fine, i'm not really seeking tons of depth from teddy; i just want her to be happy).

I have a couple comfort movies: dirty dancing, pride and prejudice (either 2005 or 1995. We don’t need to pit two bad bitches against each other), Bridget Jones diary (which is just modern p&p and more Colin firth), and the princess bride. I pretty much have all these films memorized at this point (I need a lot of comfort 😬)

Comfort show is probably parks and rec. specifically the episodes the fight and Pawnee goddesses m. Also the good place. Always happy to rewatch those

I’m a chronic rewatcher. I very rarely watch new things because I’m often disappointed and why waste the time when I have guaranteed sources of serotonin (watching ben Wyatt cry in a Batman costume) ?

Her “””””“secret”””””” diary everyone in camp knows the existence of and that she’s hiding under her pillow at night ( you don’t want to know what’s written in it ), and the ring Nelaros made.

You want the little gigi “if i ever said the f-word i will DIE” to swear ? WELL she won’t say fuck but she’s partial to “oh crap”.

she’s one of my most angry OCs, and i think a lot of readers when i was first writing her fic thought she was too mean (mostly to cullen lol). but all of her anger—every single bit—stems from love. she has so much hatred toward her parents and her sisters for letting (or wanting) her twin brother avery to be taken to the circle. she hates cullen at first for his former association with the templars (again the organization that separated her from avery). she wears her heart on her sleeve. she’s so incredibly loyal to her loved ones—after she does fall in love with cullen, she does more or less the same: she hates the orlesians at halamshiral for harassing and assaulting him. she hates the templar order and the chantry for what they put him through. she hates samson.

the one time she does something out of selfish anger is when she kills her sister bryony (a red templar formerly of the ostwick circle who originally took their brother avery from their home to the circle). and she even tells avery, after, that she didn’t kill her on his behalf, that she wishes she had, but she did it for herself. it’s the one time she’s so overcome with her own anger that she makes such a kneejerk decision to do something based on her own feelings and not her love for others.

bring it on - deap vally. I think this one has big beginning of act 2 energies. Margaret’s feeling like shes at the top of Kirkwall, they survived the deep roads, they’re rich, they’ve reclaimed their family home, and she’s feeling like she can just about handle anything the viscount or the arishok throw at her
