Causal dominance between poly!marauders x fem!reader could look like
Mafia!marauders
Mafia!sirus getting up early to make breakfast for reader and reader only whilst they sleep in because cute bunnies deserve it.
This then causes little wolf boy to wake up earlier than usual which he hates because of the smell. When he gets down to the kitchen he tells mafia!sirus "this looks good" whilst trying to to steal a bit of bacon. This action doesn't go unnotice by mafia!sirus who slaps his hand away and tells mafia!remus "for bunny only" which makes mafia!remus shocked and then go on a rant about why it's not fair and other things.
Only for mafia!sirus to brush it off and tell him maybe he shouldn't of accidentally made princess cry last night, which makes mafia!remus even more grumpy.
Mafia!James on the other hand is listening to the noise whilst in bed with you laughing to himself because this has happened to him before but not because he accidentally made you cry but because mafia!sirus only would do these things for you and look for an excuse as to why he didn't do them for mafia!remus and mafia!James.
<He's a massive pushover for you>
Needless to say after you finally awake and go downstairs to the kitchen you can see mafia!remus eating toast grumply whilst shooting you a glare, you in turn just smile at him before getting into your seat. Mafia!sirus personally greets you with a "hello princess look what I made for you and only you" with a cheeky grin and wink, you just reply with a "thank you handsome" which cause him to blush.
But that stops when you can hear Mafia!remus gagging in the background and saying "ewwww" Mafia!sirus just tells you to ignore it and that he's only jealous, which makes you giggle. Mafia!remus doesn't let that pass by him and tries to tell you to "watch yourself" only for mafia!sirus and mafia!James to shut him down and remind him of last night and how he should put on his big boy pants and leave innocent bunnies alone and stop being a big bad wolf.
You giggle at that whilst mafia!remus grumbles under his breath about a punishment for you giggling at him getting scolded but this'll never make it to real life as mafia!sirus and mafia!James will be quick to defend you but also because deep down he was in the wrong and because this breakfast and you laughing at him getting scolded is the least you can get as payback for last night though he'll never admit it.
This is my first drabble/oneshot so please excuse grammar errors I have no idea if this is causal dominance but imma say it is anyways.

Part 1Â | Part 2
Genre [Rating]: Angst (Mature)
Pairing: Baekhyun x Reader
Length: 3.6k
Carefully, he climbed into one of the storage rooms in the back of the large building where he had been tipped off about the stolen diamonds. He knew this mission was important because if he could complete it, his rank would be boosted up to the senior position. His parents would be incredibly proud to see that their son had come this far, and if they could see him now, they would be ecstatic. He made his way inside meticulously. Darkness engulfed his vision and he pulled out his torch from his back pocket, switching it on, illuminating a beam of dust particles that filled the room. He felt like coughing, but he held it in, taking any note of security cameras and possible traps that were bound to have existed in a dodgy place such as this. The walls were musty and grey, and there seemed to be some sort of damp mildew making a too comfortable home on the corners of the room. It was cluttered with unused furniture and wooden boards and tables. There were too many cupboards and storage boxes. He expected the room to be guarded more heavily with trip wires and guards, but then, isnât that exactly something that would be noticed? He mentally attempted to praise the thought process of the thief, but being an excellent agent with plenty of experience, nothing could easily fend him off, even if it was not in the slightest bit predictable.
âBaekhy- âŠ. WOAHâ came the voice behind before crashing through the window and onto the floor in a heap. âOuchâ moaned the body.
âShut up Jongin! If Chanyeol asks me why I failed this mission, I donât think heâll be the slightest bit amused when I tell him I was busted by a double left-footed idiot, who canât climb through a window without landing in a puddle on the floorâ
âSorry Baek, I just wanted to helpâ Jongin murmured, still crumpled up in the same position.
Baekhyun scoffed, and turned to resume to trying to find what he was looking for. âChanyeol said there would be a safe or something, but where exactly could it beâŠ?â
âHave you tried looking in a cupboard or something?â chirped Jongin, finally having regained his posture, now standing on his two feet with his torch out.
âOh yeah, because Iâm trying to find a 7-legged monsterâ he remarked sarcastically. He continued pacing around the floorboards of the room searching every nook and cranny with his small hand-held torchlight. Jongin had picked something up from one of the shelves and was examining it closely, tapping it at the base expecting something magic to pop out. Baekhyun continued walking over the mahogany floorboards until he abruptly stopped and took a single step back with his left foot. He shifted his weight forward, and then back stepping on two different floorboards.
âBaekhyun, what are you-?â He was cut of with Baekhyun giving him the most aggressive stare. Jongin pursed his lips into a tight thin line and watched as Baekhyun kneeled on all fours and started tapping the two floorboards in question. One produced a hollower sound compared to the other surrounding it.
âBingoâ Baekhyun whispered, as he started feeling the edge of the floorboard. Jonginâs eyes bulged in surprise and he immediately let go of the object in his hand and ran over to Baekhyun and see what he had found. The small box like object landed with a thud on the floor as Baekhyun found the edge of the floorboard and pulled it up finding a large ivory wooden box placed right underneath.
âDo you think the diamonds are in there Baek?â Jongin questioned.
âWell, itâs either that, or something that they donât want anyone to find. Either way, weâre in luckâ Baekhyun answered eyes fixed on the ivory box, which was a stark contrast to everything else dullen in the room. He lifted it out of the small hole with all his strength and placed it on the side, on the more stable flooring situated around it. The box seemed to have no direct opening, no lid, no lock, just a smooth block of white, with a single cube etched out on the top. Confusion struck both men as they tried to figure out how to open the box.
âMaybe itâs controlled by fingerprint?â Jongin suggested, to which Baekhyun shook his head.
âIt would need some sort of technological pad or screen for it to be recognized by fingerprint. Also, I donât think they would invest too much money to protect something which would be equally expensive. That would just be stupid.â
âThere must be some other way around itâ he paused. âMaybe we should take a picture of it and show Chanyeol, maybe he will have an idea on how to open the box?â
âHow would Chanyeol know how to open it?â Baekhyun asked slightly annoyed at how much Jongin was underestimating him right now
Suddenly, they heard a small creak. They both looked up and flashed their lights up to where the sound approximately came from. Baekhyun then scanned the entire room searching for any other sign of movement.
âIt must have just been a rat, god knows how many are scuttling through here now. I wouldnât be surprised at all⊠this place is disgustingâ
Jongin and Baekhyun pulled a face and continued to look at the box.
âHeâs the one who told you it would be in some sort of safe or somethingâŠâ
âWell was it?!â Baekhyun retorted with annoyance
Jongin kept his mouth shut because he knew if he pissed off Baekhyun even more, there would be a risk of him losing his temper and shouting. He didnât want them to get caught on a mission, so he stayed silent.
âPlusâ Baekhyun continued regaining his composure âIt would waste a lot of time Jongin, and we never know, if by the time we get a chance to come back here again, the location of the box is still here. Who knows how long we have before this diamond gets sold for a shit load of moneyâ
âWell⊠if we donât know how to open it now, then arenât we wasting our time here and increasing our chances of maybeâŠohâŠI donât know ...um⊠GETTING CAUGHT?!â
Bakehyun ignored Jonginâs pessimistic remarks and continued examining the box, running his fingers over the cube like depth carved into it. He felt the sides and then the rest of the upper surface, noting how the inside of the carved structure was smoother than the rest of the ivory. It seemed to have had less exposure or more wear compared to the rest of the box. It seemed as if the cut was fairly new or had been used so much, that the rougher edges had been smoothed down.
It suddenly struck him.
âItâs a lock.â
âWhat?â Jongin asked still in a muddled state of mind.
âItâs a lockâ he repeated, and then he grabbed onto Jonginâs shoulders. âThe block, the block, where did you put the block!?â Jongin stared at him with utter confusion before Baekhyun stood up and started looking around. âWhere the hell is that object that you were playing around with, not 5 minutes ago?!â
Jongin turned around to face him, suddenly on the same wave of understanding as Baekhyun before stammering. âI dropped it right there on the⊠floorâŠâ He shone the torchlight at the place where he had let go of the object to find nothing there. He blinked again, but the object was not there. He thought for a while, trying to recall if he had put it in a different place, but no matter how hard he thought, he remembered dropping it on the floor in that exact location.Â
Then it hit him.
He immediately looked at the other who was staring right back at him with the same thought running through his head after the disappearance of the small cubed object.
âSomeoneâs hereâ they both whispered in unison.
Your alarm pierced through your sleep jolting you up from your bed as you reached to turn it off.
05:30 am.
âGreatâ you thought. Monday. You sluggishly removed yourself from your bed, grabbing your toothbrush and towel in your room and making your way into the shower. You brushed your teeth and stepped in letting the scalding hot water wash over and clean your skin. You preferred the water to be hot, it gave you a sense of relaxation. After 15 minutes, you were a lot more awake and getting dressed into some black jeans, a black tank top and a black leather jacket. You tied your long hair into a high pony, put on your black combat boots and slipped your phone into your pocket. After grabbing an apple and your car keys, you drove to work.
Just as you parked, you looked at the time
06:40
âShitâ you cursed. You were 10 minutes late. You placed the car in neutral, turned the engine off and bolted through the large silver building plated
âTHE SOFA AND MATTRESS STORE, FOR ALL YOUR SOFA AND MATTRESS NEEDSâ
You ran all the way at the back to the fire escape and climbed the stairs to the third floor. You punched in the code outside the black door and placed your finger onto the digital pad. The door opened with a soft click as you scurried inside down the scarcely lit corridor. You ran past 10 doors before you turned left into one where an old man in his 60âs was sitting at his desk, typing something on his computer.
âI know⊠I know, before you start, yes I amâŠâ you looked at your phone, panting â14 minutes andâ you paused again and the clock changed a minute.. ânow 15 minutes late. But I have a good reason⊠I was on my way here and I â â Before you could say anymore, you were cut off by the man holding up a hand to your face as a sign for you to stop.
âY/N, I donât care about why youâre late, just hurry up and get on with what I told you yesterday.â You sighed and rolled your eyes. You took another deep breath and began blurting out everything you were thinking in your mind.
âLook Dad, have I not shown you how capable I am of going on a mission? I have trained with Yixing, a hundred times. I know his tactics inside out and Iâm pretty sure I can knock him off his feet within a matter of seconds. I have completed target practice with Luhan, a hundred times. I know how to shoot, my aim is impeccable, and my knife strike can kill a person in one cut. I have even learned how to defend myself A HUNDRED TIMES, with both my arms tied behind my back, and no weapons at all, absoloutely perfectly! I have proved I am ready to face whatever the criminal world throws at me!!! Can you not just assign me something so I can prove you wrong?â
You waited for what seemed like a decade before your Dad looked up just enough to make eye contact with you.
âDid you do what I told you to do yesterday?â He asked again.
You sighed knowing that he had not listened to a single word you said and how stubborn he could be sometimes.
âNo, but like I said I feel like Iâm ready toâŠâ
âAnd thatâs why you are not fit enough to go, or even be assigned to any missionâ
You looked at him in utter confusion.
âYOU ASKED ME TO CLEAN THE WINDOWS DAD!â
âWell, when you start to learn how to follow orders, I will think about assigning you to your first mission. Now go and clean those windows so well, that I will be able to see my reflection in themâ
You groaned outwardly before you stomped out of the room, making your presence known. You made your way into the upstairs utility room to grab a bucket, a cloth, some cleaner and a step ladder before walking into the upstairs lobby and starting to work on the windows.
You were a secret agent (or in training to be one), part of an association mafia called SM. Your dad ran the entire mafia from your secluded location in the roof of a furniture store. This part of your life had always been a secret from the rest of the world. To everyone else, you were a normal student studying for your degree in Criminal Analysis at University. You had friends, but they were all just for show, and you never kept in touch with any of them outside of university. You knew getting too close to people would risk your secret coming to light and that was the last thing you ever wanted. This association meant the world to you, youâd had the family that youâd always wanted, and everything here was just as you imagined it to be. Your mum and dad had met on a secret mission, and you always knew this is what you were born for. After losing your mum whilst she was on a dangerous mission to obtain some illegal weapons, you had made a pact to focus all your attention to the mafia and even changed your degree into researching what people did to prevent people like you, from succeeding. So now, you knew every trick used in the hypothetical book just so you could avoid it. All you needed to do now, was become an agent and go on your first accompanied mission.
Unlike other mafias out there, your association mafia was the hub of all crime. Ranging from drugs, thefts, trafficking⊠your mafia did it all. However, those were all childâs play.
The main objective of your mafia⊠Pawning.
You stole valuable goods and objects to sell them on the black market and make a profit. You would then produce drugs in lower class countries and import them here to sell at the top price. Your association was one of the best in the industry, so much so, that the word competition from other mafias didnât even cause you to blink an eye. You belonged to the top dogs of the game, and you knew it.
You continued cleaning the windows only to hear a loud thud sound. You assumed something had fallen, but all your senses were highly alert and on edge. Suddenly, you turned around, jumped off your step ladder and pressed the spray on the aerosol window cleaner, waving it around frantically in front of you.
âY/NâŠSTOP⊠*cough* CAN YOU STOP *cough*, OKAY WE GET ITâŠENOUGH NOWâŠSORRY!â
You immediately took your finger off the aerosol can and stared at the semi-dying figure in front of you. He was wheezing and coughing his guts out with his eyes closed and tears running down his face.
âOMG YIXING! IâM SO SORRYâ you cried, dropping everything and running to get him a glass of water. You filled up a whole cup from the lobby water dispenser and held it right near his lips. He took a sip and smiled. You noticed as your face immediately turned annoyed and you splashed the water all over his face. Yixing broke out into a fit of laughter opening his eyes and seeing you standing there all angry and bothered.
âYou shouldnât have fooled me like that Yixing. I honestly thought you got hurt⊠UGH why did you sneak up on me like that, I could have really caused some damage to your eyes, or even hit you!â
âFirst rule of being an agent, if you sneak up on someone, always expect the unexpected.â He laughed again, seeing your face lighten up a little.
It was no lie, Yixing made you smile, and you appreciated his company a lot. The other members of the mafia were really close to you as well, but none of them joked around with you as much as Yixing did. He made waiting to go on missions worthwhile and would always teach you small things that you werenât supposed to know. He would sometimes sneak you out on small missions to steal moderately valuable items and bring you back unnoticed. You loved hanging around with him, and it wouldnât be crazy to admit if you started to develop any feelings for him. The way his dimples showed when he smiled, his soft tousled hair, and his incredibly defined body. But, to keep things simple and less complicated, you just appreciated him a lot as someone who cared for you and as a good friend.
âSay, Yixing, I heard a loud thud earlier in one of the rooms⊠was that you? Did you fall or something?â
âNo Y/N. Youâve been on your own on this floor with boss. Luhan and I just came back from a mission, and the rest of the members have today off. Youâve been the only one on this floor for all I knowâŠâ
Panic sprinted up and down your spine as you dashed out of the lobby making your way towards the storage room. Yixing darted behind you following where you were going. He seemed to have caught onto what you thought was happening, so ran after you.
You peered in the small glass portion of the storage room door which was locked. You almost had a heart attack when you noticed the passing of a beam of light in the room. You slowly turned to Yixing who had seen the same thing you had, and you both nodded at each other in unison without saying a word. You carefully unlocked the door with your fingerprint, hearing a small click to signify that it was open. You didnât walk in immediately, but stayed silent to see if you could hear any conversation, and without a doubt, you could hear two male voices, sounding around middle 20âs.
âDo you think the diamonds are in there Baek?â a male questioned.
âWell, itâs either that, or something that the they donât want anyone to find. Either way, weâre in luckâ
Your heart leapt out of your chest knowing exactly what was going on. You became increasingly worried and scanned the storage room for any weapons since all of yours were in the armory. You glanced at Yixing who held his hand up, palms towards you, signaling that he didnât have any on him either. Of course, he must have de-weaponized himself after completing the mission. You motioned for him to stay as you decided to go in.
You used the small fragments of light from the torches of the intruders to silently make your way into the shadows of the storage room. You desperately continued to look for something to defend yourself with because even though you knew you could win against these intruders with both your hands tied, you didnât know how dangerous they were. Without knowing that, you had to be cautious. Whilst looking for a weapon, your eyes perused over the room, almost missing something crucial. The key to the box! It was lying there right at the back of the room. You mentally cursed, but pinched yourself, starting the process of creeping towards the back of the room to go get the key.
âMaybe itâs controlled by fingerprint?â One of the men suggested.
âIt would need some sort of technological pad or screen for it to be recognized by fingerprint. Also, I donât think they would invest too much money to protect something which would be equally expensive. That would just be stupid.â
You were almost half way through the storage room, but for you to grab the key unnoticed, you would have to move faster than this. You shifted swiftly through the old unused objects, hiding behind each one for protection. As you stepped out to move closer from a chest of old drawers, a floorboard creaked excruciatingly below you, causing you hold your breath and rapidly duck behind the drawers again. Almost as soon as you had, the flashlights shone exactly in your direction, pinpointing the chest of draws in the torchlight. You remained completely stiff not daring to even let your breath out. When the torchlight shifted its focus off the furniture you were hiding behind, you quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
âIt must have just been a rat, god knows how many are scuttling through here now. I wouldnât be surprised at all⊠this place is disgustingâ One of them muttered loud enough for you to hear.
You continued to venture through the room, making your way stealthily behind the two men as they continued their conversation. You slowly bent over and picked up the small cube that was the key. You thought about making your way out as soon as possible, but then an idea struck you, you smirked and sat down on the small bedside table positioned near an old armoire.
âItâs a lock.â One of them stated calmly.
âWhat?â
âItâs a lockâ he repeated, and then he grabbed onto the other manâs shoulders. âThe block, the block, where did you put the block!?â He got up frantically and started looking around. âWhere the hell is that object that you were playing around with, not 5 minutes ago?!â
The other man seemed to finally understand what was going on and replied.
âI dropped it right there on the⊠floorâŠâ he shone his torchlight to where you had just picked the key up from the floor
After a long pause, both looked at each other in unison and whispered,
âSomeoneâs hereâ
You got up and started clapping. Both their lights focused to you in an instant blinding you momentarily before you quickly adjusted to look them in the faces holding the cube up to your eye level. You decided to tease them and spoke with a voice laced with triumph and venom.
