Physically, I’d say Lyris. Her facial structure has changed quite a lot since her original design, as well as her change in vallaslin - she originally had the Sylaise design and now has Mythal’s.

Personality wise… I mean Val is much less murdery than she was, and much more emotionally volatile. Her original concept had her being a part of the Dark Brotherhood and she was much more cool, calm and collected. These days she’s throwing swears after every other word and tends to prefer not to leaves bodies all over the place. Bad for business.

And damn you… I dunno man, I put a lot of myself into my characters, whether it’s my ideals, my anger, my bitterness, world view etc. They all mean a lot to me. Except Kyriel and Maevis, they can go suck it :p

Maevis:

2. What is your character’s happiest memory?

She doesn’t have many, and the one she does have is so vague and faded, she isn’t certain if it’s even real. It was when she was very young, and just playing with her father. She’s not sure if she dreamed it or not, but it’s probably the closest she’s ever come to happiness that doesn’t involve crime and piles of coin.

7. Have they ever encountered someone they really wanted to kill?

Maggie. The moment it became evident that Maggie was the better thief, Maevis immediately tried (and failed) to have her killed. So she ran her out of Daggerfall instead - of course it all came back to bite her when Maggie returned and successfully sabotaged Maevis, forcing her to flee the city. Maevis has been plotting for revenge ever since.

9. Does your character have any accidents or stunts from the past that they’re extremely embarrassed about or had a funny result? Details please!

None that she’ll ever share or admit to.

19. Have they ever lost a loved one? What happened to them, and are they the same as they were before they lost them?

Maevis’ father was a less than honest man, and backed the wrong side of a war between Daggerfall’s biggest crime lords. He was killed as a result, and Maevis ended up on the streets. She became hardened and embittered by it, and spent years waiting for a moment to get payback for it. The only reason that the baron still lives is as a trophy of Maevis’ victory in becoming Daggerfall’s major crime lord.

33. In your character’s opinion, is it okay being content in one place, or are people just wasting their time if they don’t explore?

She doesn’t care either way what other people do, but she prefers to be in one place. That way she can focus her efforts into one concentrated area and reap the biggest gain. Travelling is for criminals without ambition, who just take what they can here and there. Maevis is all about the profit.

Aerrun:

2. What is your character’s happiest memory?

There was a time after joining the Dark Brotherhood when Aerrun was happy. After the loss of her parents, it all seemed so bleak and hopeless, and so finding a place of acceptance in the Dawnstar Sanctuary was a good memory after so much bad had happened.

7. Have they ever encountered someone they really wanted to kill?

Augustus Grieves, Mankar Camoran and Mathieu Bellamont are the people she hates most, and she killed all three of them.

9. Does your character have any accidents or stunts from the past that they’re extremely embarrassed about or had a funny result? Details please!

Well, there was one incident in Cloud Ruler temple, that involved Baurus and Aerrun playing a prank on Jena with some spiders… they were lucky to have survived, given Jena has quite the temper… The less said about it, the better.

Erhan and Akula’s deaths had a huge impact on Aerrun’s life that led to her turning to assassination and murder, so…

33. In your character’s opinion, is it okay being content in one place, or are people just wasting their time if they don’t explore?

Maggie grew up on the streets of Daggerfall as an orphan - she doesn’t much care about what happened to her parents, as survival was her highest priority. With her natural intelligence, Maggie flourished on the streets and became an expert pickpocket. However, for many years, Maggie practically lived under the thumb of an older imperial girl, Maevis Araea, who wasted little time in reminding Maggie of her intellectual inferiority.

Maevis’ treatment of Maggie, and Maggie’s overwhelming self-loathing combined with her pride led to an ugly split and the pair went their separate ways. As the years went by, Maggie made a name for herself as a thief in Stormheart, taking on increasingly difficult and dangerous jobs. Whilst many assumed this was due to her ambition, in reality Maggie was desperately trying to prove to herself that Maevis’ words had never been true, and so took complex jobs to prove her intelligence to the point of being obnoxious.
