Seokjin stood still at the altar; his jaw clenched as he waited for Sakura. The weeks leading up to the wedding, he had been reminded continuously and reprimanded for his parent's decision to marry him off to some "low life." Despite the unrelenting comments, he knew that the marriage was purely a matter of business. If he didn't marry this woman, his family's company would sink to depths he didn't even want to imagine.
Lost in his thoughts, Seokjin only noticed that his soon to be wife was standing right in front of him when her father placed her hand in his. Giving the older man a nod, he turned his attention to Sakura. Taking his time, he allowed his eyes to graze over her figure. His thumb absentmindedly grazed over her knuckles as he felt his breath hitch. Sakura was indeed the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen. She was naturally attractive, not needing any heavy makeup to display a look of beauty.
The words "I do" soon left his lips, but deep down, he reminded himself that they had no real meaning. His tongue ran over his bottom lip as he let go over her hand, pulling back the veil with ease when told he could kiss the bride. Bending down, he pressed his lips against hers, his hand instinctively moving down to hold her waist while doing so.
The kiss caught me off-guard, and one of my hands unconsciously reaching up to pluck at the lapels of Seokjin's tuxedo. Drawing back when we were prompted to bow, I headed with him to the wedding banquet in the hotel ballroom.
My maid-of-honor, Misa, approached with her boyfriend, Yoongi, who was also the best man. It was a strange twist of fate that our close friends are dating, while Seokjin and I are getting married virtually as strangers to each other. "You should give Seokjin a drink, help him loosen up," she prompted Yoongi. To me, she gave a reassuring smile and a glass of rosé.
"You just need to get through with greeting the guests then you can rest. Where are you going for your honeymoon?" Misa asked. "We... haven't talked about it." I murmured, glancing at Seokjin. Of course, there were a lot of things we haven't talked about. And I didn't even know how much I could expect from him.
