TR DARK ANGEL LIVE RECORDING (III)
Just some random photos took during the event, mainly to show the kindness and reception of ex-Core Design fellas and the other fans attending, and grab an idea of the atmosphere.
We had a fantastic time because everyone was so friendly and kind. At any time, Murti, Eric, Peter and Martin were available to sign our merch and prints - I remember a fan bringing her TRAOD PS2 copy to sign and Eric being like, “OMG, I have to sign here??”, as if feeling bad to sign the cover. I reminded him that actually, he signing that TRAOD copy would probably increase its value. He refused to believe it.
I wish I could have been more open and friendly with everyone who attended, but admittely, despite I look very direct and frank when I’m in social media, in person I’m very shy. So hereby I apologize to anyone I failed to interact with. Also I know, my English accent is awful. But fortunately Hubby was there and he’s far more gifted than me in social interactions. I offered the notes to anyone who wanted to take a look to them - and the nice guy in red - Al Survivor - and us enjoyed a while discussing them, just as Eric, who praised Murti’s talents and skills not only for storywriting but also for drawing concept art.
Murti was probably the soul of the event, being incredibly receptive and kind and friendly to everyone, making constant jokes and offering himself to take photos, interact and bring us together. All in all, a remarkable experience.
Last but not least, Martin Iveson, who was the second composer of the original TRAOD soundtrack, was also with us and open to any interaction too. He even made a joke when signing the prints which consisted in taking one of the several Tomb Raider 20th Anniversary napkins and say, “Do you know how to draw a dick and balls?” and actually drawing them in a few strokes. Only to immediately apologize, “I’m sorry, this is disgusting.” I think @tomb-of-ash kept that napkin.

Of course, he also signed a lot of prints and posters, which were already signed by the drum and guitar solo musicians that had performed previously to that session. I took two of these posters home, one for me and another one for my dear sis @anentireamazon and made sure to be signed also by Peter and Martin.
Considering the tier we pledged for also includes a signed poster still yet to come, we don’t know where in earth to put them, but that’s the least of our problems now, I guess.
I am done now with the random photos and anecdotes coming from the session. In the next post (s)? will be sharing the personal photos taken with this amazing lot. See ya soon.
Shout out to the fantastic cosplayers that attended the event with us, specially the charming @madenice which was our sweet Janice and the fantastic guys cosplaying Werner Von Croy - who almost melted in that supercool suit, given the hot weather - and of course Kurtis - I’m so sorry that I can’t remember either of your names - who showed us the Chirugai with the extensible blades, very cool handcrafted, and his fantastic cosplay too. Admittely I had missed to take a photo with him during TR Suite premiere, but this time, I delivered! :)
