Honestly, kind of impressed that Edgeworth stayed with it at all. Like, first time he’s called in, he doesn’t actually make it to trial because of a double homicide of the previous prosecutor and the defendant, and then the second time he does make it to trial but not to a verdict because the defendant killed himself. Like if I was in his shoes, I think after the third death I would be like “okay, so… I’m the common denominator here.” But instead he didn’t let the pile of bodies dissuade him and kept at it.
