I recently found out that I'm also a Yata enjoyer, because apparently I can't just watch the series and not get my attention drawn to a third-plan character in whom I can see a good (and not particularly unfolded, as usual) potential. Zenigata is an amazing character on his own of course, but the sudden twink partner that was attached to him in Part 5 is also nice! Cool guy, gives more volume to the inspector's character through his interactions with him. An altruistic and devoted companion.
