Excuse the lack of makeup and lack of sleep

But I made this thing and I’m pretty proud of it

I know I’m bias but I think she’s the most beautiful baby to ever exist

I just got a letter from my sister.

I cannot explain how healing it is.

I can’t stop crying.

She said I did not labor in vain; my family is better off because of my hard work and bravery in the face of abuse and toxicity.

That our children have a chance at a healthy life because of me.

And god, that means everything to me.

I’m so grateful God used me to help my family.

I’m so grateful for His mercy on me.

October 29th, 2018 will be my daughter’s birthday.

I can’t even believe it. I’m sure the next 11 days are going to fly by.

I love that the last weekend before she gets here is my birthday weekend. I’ll get to spend a little one on one time with hubby before we’re a family of three.

I’m so into my husband. Marriage is never easy but wow am I lucky to be doing it with such an incredible partner. To feel supported, respected and unconditionally loved is something not everyone experiences in their marriage - the fact that I have a husband that does all that and more is my life’s greatest blessing.

Not to mention I’ve honestly laughed more in the past two years than any other time in my life.

Boyfriend ramblings, because its my blog and I can do what I want.

Today, while thinking, I realized we are a combination of Marshall and Lily, Lorelei and Luke, and Jess and Nick. I can not describe how happy this makes me. He is seriously my perfect personality match (thus far).

At lunch we decided to legitimize the bf/gf point system. We give em randomly or by bartering, depending on the circumstance. Once one person reaches 100, they can cash it in either for a favor, a date night of one's choosing or a surprise little gift. I'm pretty excited about it, hahaha.

Planning dates is the best. Current list: a classy photo shoot in the park (and I mean classy: dress, suit, pipe, etc. because why the heck not) trip to the farmers market (complete with vegan baking afterwards), list of cool restaurants/bars/bookstores/cd stores/thrift shops we wanna visit, weekend stay at beach house with friends (and crab dinner), concerts/festivals (most of which tickets have already been purchased), books we are reading together, indoor camping, nerf battles, movie marathons, writing together, etc.
