If the âMass Outbreakâ option is ever done, how would we count shinies caught in PoGo or PokĂ©mon Sleep? Their rates are a lot higher in some cases and have events focused on certain evolutionary families every so often. They also have easier catch mechanics. Does that still line up with the âyes, hunted for,â âyes, found by chance,â âno, couldnât catch,â âno, havenât foundâ choices or would shinies caught due to the advantageous shiny rates/catch mechanics of these games not count?

These polls are going to be much more⊠subjective? Case by case? Since the options are more about intent to find, rather than just fact of the matter. So a Community day shiny for a person will be âhunted forâ if they partook specifically to get a shiny Pokemon, whereas someone who just happened to be playing at that time might vote âby chanceâ ^^
That being said, Iâll probably add a couple more options to cover more experiences! Such as âYes, I received one in a tradeâ or âyes, but I donât remember how I got itâ
