Met Jon Bernthal today at MotorCity Comic Con. I had him sign this awesome Punisher print by macbethoff. Jon really liked the print (said it was ‘amazing’).
While he was signing, I asked him what happened to the dog the Punisher saved in Season 2 because once the guys take it away, we never see it again.
According to Jon, there’s a scene that got cut in the cemetery where the dog comes running up to him. Then the police show up and he yells for the dog to ‘hide’.
So that’s what happened to the dog.
Also, Jon Bernthal smells fantastic.

THIS makes me excited about art. This style. This issue...HOW TO NOT COPY?! I did this as a study of macbethoffs style, tried to figure out the underlying form and why things looked a certain way and whatnot (vs just blatantly copying the lines that are already there) This actually made me really happy and I plan on doing some more studies and hopefully doing some original work in this style
