♥️Ji-Hye is the oldest sister out of the thirty minutes. She always had a lot to live up to as the oldest. Having to be her siblings guidance and look out for them when her parents weren't around. Although her parents assured her that she shouldn't be stressed about it since they would still be around when she needed them. As Ji-Hye grew up, her and her sisters would practice singing, in order to catch their prey. They found that whenever they sang together, they had a very strong harmonious tone. Much stronger than the average siren would gave. Out of all the sisters, Ji-Hye had the strongest singing voice. So, she was chosen by her parents to hunt with them. It was too dangerous for her other siblings to do it because they weren't ready.

When finally leaving their nest for the first time, Ji-Hye was astounded by the world outside. She had never witnessed such beauty like the etherium. Despite wanting to enjoy the glory of swimming around and chasing stars, her parents reassured her they were only their to hunt. She could enjoy her freedom later. Catching prey wasn't necessarily the easiest thing to do. Considering she was a newbie, Ji-Hye had a tough time catching her first human. Although with the guidance of her parents, she improved pretty easily. When they'd return from hunting, Ji-Hye would tell her siblings about what it was like outside. This sparked a bit of curiosity from all the girls. Now they too wanted to go outside to see the etherium for themselves. Their parents but a stop to this, affirming that it was far too dangerous to go out. Their mother assured them they were only looking out for them. While their father shared some of his experiences of going out so young, nearly getting himself killed. Ji-Hye became frightened when her father shared his trauma. She feared that one day she'd lose them if they weren't so careful. Her mother comforted her that, that would never happen. She even sang her a lullaby to ease her tension. A lullaby Ji-Hye would often sing to herself as she got older... Unfortunately, her parents did lose their lives. While out hunting for food, the three of them were suddenly attacked by sailors. Harpoons and cannons were shot at them. Ji-Hye's father tried his best to protect his wife and daughter, unfortunately a harpoon was shot right through his chest. In an attempt to save Ji-Hye, her mother sacrificed herself by crashing her body into one of the ships. It exploded causing Ji-Hye's sight to be partially damaged. She managed to escape but at the cost of her mother's life.

Ji-Hye had a very difficult time finding her way home because of her blurry eye sight. Luckily, her sister Yeong-Ja found her. Despite being told not to leave the nest, Yeong-Ja would do so anyway when no one was looking. This proved to be a great decision as she helped Ji-Hye swim home. When arriving home, expecting their parents to be with her, Ji-Hye broke down as she explained what happened. They all cried with Ji-Hye, being extremely devastated by this news.

For the next several years, their lives weren't exactly the best. Having to rely on themselves and hunt together as a group. Well, except for Ji-Hye and Hyun-Joo. The two would be left behind as Ji-Hye's sight was blurry and Hyun-Joo couldn't speak. Ji-Hye became a very resentful and angry person overtime. Often snapping at her own siblings to leave her alone. Isolating herself from everyone else. Hyun-Joo would try to warm up her sisters spirits in any way she could. It unfortunately never worked. Ji-Hye blamed a bit of herself for what happened. She wished she could've down something to protect her parents.. but it was already too late. Ji-Hye blamed a majority of her parent's death to the sailors. Those horrid sailors. No. Those terrible livestock as she would refer to them. Nothing but livestock, that decided today was the day they were going to hunt down some sirens. Ji-Hye wished she could get her revenge. Not only against the sailors that did that to her parents but to EVERY other CREATURE in the etherium! Coincidentally, a stranger walked into their home one day. Offering the girls a deal of a lifetime. Ji-Hye was already planning on eating the stranger right then and there but listened to what they had to say. The deal was that they would work for the stranger and in return would get the revenge they so happily wanted. Ji-Hye told them to elaborate, wanting more details. The plan was by becoming a "human" band, they would still have their siren singing voices and manipulate the people into doing whatever they wanted. Ji-Hye was skeptical at first but agreed anyway. She was fueled by anger and vengeance to make the deal. Ji-Hye managed to make her other siblings sign off on the deal. Most of them agreed but it took a while for Hyun-Joo to do so. Hyun-Joo believe this isn't what their parents would've wanted. But after some persuasion by all her sisters (and being incredibly pressured to do it), Hyun-Joo finally signed off on the deal. Each sister was given a shard from a magic crystal. When worn around their necks or wrists, their forms change to that of a human appearance. Despite being disgusted by her human appearance, Ji-Hye managed to make the most of it. After a few concerts of singing together, they quickly rose in popularity. Although as they rose in popularity, more deaths were occuring around the etherium. Deaths that happened to please Ji-Hye..
