Hi just needed to spread the Lyss love, she's my fave COB character! How do you think Lyss feels about Rex as of now? I always found their relationship interesting but only noticed that Lyss liked him because of the posts you've made and asks you've gotten lmao so I'm really curious about that!!

I think at this point in the story, they're just very, very dear friends. Maybe even soulmates, in a completely platonic way.

Rex never had anything but platonic feelings for her, but she had a crush on him, which she's moved on from. One of the main things I wanted to absolutely avoid was any kind of love triangle between Lyss/Bell/Rex. Bell is her own person now, and Rex loves that person. Lyss had feelings for a bit when she was literally living with the guy, but it's kind of easy to move on when he's literally swung knives at her and talked to her like this:

Rex has a real mean streak in him that people don't talk about LOL. Not to say Lyss didn't deserve some chewing out, but I think seeing that side of him was enough to at least lose her romantic feelings for him. They've repaired their relationship though, and both value each other as very important people in each others lives now.
