I have posted this one before as it’s a few years old, but given the insanely false statement recently made by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee about the AR15, I felt it needed posting again. About the AR15, Lee stated: "It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving. And the bullet that is utilized, a .50 caliber, these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.” In this picture I am holding an AR15 in my left hand and a Barrett .50 in my right. First off, the 5.56mm or .223 caliber bullet that the AR15 fires is WAAAAAY smaller than the .50 caliber that the Barrett fires (you can see simply by their caliber that the AR fires a bullet less than half the diameter of the .50). Secondly, clearly NEITHER of these guns weigh as much as “10 boxes you might be moving”, I definitely don’t work out enough to be holding that much weight in each hand...lol. When and how did this even become a unit of measure? Common core maybe? When a politician is either this completely inept and uninformed or just straight bald face lying about such a simple to prove statement, how can anyone possibly trust them on anything else they say? #draintheswamp #lyingpoliticians #tacticalphotographer #firearmphotography #igmilitia #allriflesmatter #defendthesecond #2a #theppl #thepewpewlife #molonlabe https://www.instagram.com/p/B262nLZpNpW/?igshid=1481jnevjy3xg
