Back in 2016 when I was 20 years old I was a client of a therapy program called i360 in Dallas, Texas. At one point 2 life coaches from i360 showed up at my life mate's apartment where I was staying and insisted on taking me to an emergency room because according to them I "looked very sick" even though I had llterally gone out to lunch with them and everything was fine less than 2 hours prior. I made them swear they weren't having me admitted to a psych ward which kept happening to me due to what turned out to be an insurance scam, and they swore they just wanted to have me checked out by a MEDICAL doctor, nothing involving psych professionals.
Like a big idiot, I agreed to go with them. They took me to the ER at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, and the life coaches and I waited in the lobby area for probably around an hour before I was called back behind this weird sliding curtain off to the side of the lobby. This was strange because the ER had individual rooms that were usually used, not just a curtain. I was already weirded out af, but against my sickening gut feeling, I went behind the curtain with the 2 "life coaches."
Soon, a doctor came entered the bizzare rectangular curtain-room, and the life coaches and doctor insisted I was agitated when the whole time in the lobby I had just been scrolling on my phone and listening to music. The doctor asked if I wanted anything for my "anxiety" which I admit I was feeling, but no more than is reasonable for the situation I was in at the time. Immediately after I declined the offer of anxiolytic medication, I was restrained by the doctor and the two life coaches, and within just a few more seconds, another medical professional (I'm not sure whether a doctor or nurse or what) had entered the room with a rolling IV of some sort of thick liquid; red, almost glittering with what lookeed like metallic shards dispersed throughout. The first doctor told me it was Ativan (which I knew damn well does not look like that in IV form), then I was forcibly hooked up to the IV while still being restrained. At this point, I was distraught and afraid but knew there was no use fighting back against 4 people. But I was at least spared feeling these things for long, as I rapidly lost consciosness and woke up a week later in the Presby Psych Ward in Dallas, where much more disturbing things were yet to occur.
