In Paris he was a famous model, a celebrity status heaped onto him since birth by his even more prominant father, and then made worse later in life by his father yet again- though, for different reasons the second time around

Gabriel Agreste, the acclaimed fashion designer, had been arrested and convicted of multiple murders and various charges of child abuse and neglect, and the scandal had rocked the city of Paris so hard that by the time the trial came around, half of Europe was watching, and Adrien couldn’t even walk down the street without someone recognizing him

So he had moved not just cities or countries, but continents away the first chance he got, and to his pleasant surprise, no one here had seemed to notice him

Now he was back to square one, with people recognizing him once again and never for anything good
