Timber: When his datemate proposes to him, he's not really sure what they're doing? Like, what the heck? They would have to explain to him what proposing means, and once they do, he accepts because he's very happy! He would like the ring, but he doesn't really wear it? He would just go to put it into his little secret area(it's the place where his forest is still not burnt and it's pretty there(I wrote about it before, I dunno if you know lol)

Pinks: Another one that doesn't get it at first. Oh, yeah, pretty ring! What's that mean? Once they explain it to him, he perks up then smiles and starts to explain how his kind get married. His rambling makes him almost forget that they're proposing... until he agrees, of course! He would pull them into the water and nuzzle their faces together, letting out happy hums. He is very happy that his mate wants to stay with him forever.

Yanberry: He would stare at the ring with wide sockets, his eyeshines disappearing. It might seem like he's upset, but then they come back and they're so bright! He hugs you, pressing 'kisses' against your cheeks. "Yes! Of course I'll marry you. Ahh, how did you get this without me noticing? You're so cute!" of course he would also try to figure out how you snuck out to buy the ring, but right now, he didn't care enough about it to question it! You're his marriage partner now, more than just his datemate... maybe he could even talk you into doing a soul binding?

Dream: When you first moved closer, he shuts his eyes expecting a kiss on the cheek but when you did the butterfly kisses instead, his eyes would snap open his cheeks blowing up in a bright blush and looks at you. Saying that would just get him blushing harder, and he laughs shaking his head at you, "Y/n…" he mumbles then nuzzles into your neck. To show his love, but also because he was embarrassed. You made him all embarrassed, good job!

Nightmare: I can't really see him cuddling all that much, but let's say you decide to just randomly do it one day while he's distracted by his paperwork! He would greet you, as he normally did, and tilt his head a small bit when you came over, expecting the kiss but when you did the other thing, he had to pause. He turns his head to look at you, confused. "I wouldn't say I'm remotely… sweet, but thank you? Did you get anything in your lashes? You shouldn't get my… stuff in your eyes." He didn't really know what to call it, and he refused to call it goop. Why would you go and do something like that?

Passive: He would most likely be playing with your hair, if you had any and any that could be played with, when you decide to do it. He was prepared for the kiss, or at least tried to mentally prepare himself, but when you did that instead, his cheeks exploded into a blush. He wasn't prepared! He rests his hand on his cheek, looking at you and smiles when you said the last part, "You're so sweet…" He gives you a light little nuzzle. He was so happy he got to meet you. But please, let him prepare himself. You're gonna kill him.

Lover: She would still need to get used to the idea of cuddling to just cuddle, really, but she liked it! She found it relaxing and weirdly calming. When you shifted around she looked at you out of the corner of her sockets then you went and did that, making her giggle. "Aww Y/n." She turns and starts to pepper 'kisses' across your face the best that she could. You were just so cute! So sweet. She didn't even care about the reasoning, that was just one of the most wholesome things she's ever seen. You big dork.

Cupid: He gets startled at first and looks at you with big eyesockets. He was shocked then laughs and hugs onto you, nuzzling his face against yours purring happily. He doesn't quite get it at first, He was expecting you to try to kiss him, but this was nicer and he chuckles, "You're adorable." He found it funny that you thought he was lovely and sweet… not many would agree with that most likely.

Pinks: He was cuddled up to you, his head rested on your shoulder while nuzzling into your soft skin, humming happily. He had his tail wrapped around your legs and when he felt you moving, he lifted his head to look at you, "hm?" he turns his head to the side. When you leant down and did that, he couldn't help but laugh doing a happy little wiggle, chirping and clicking happily. He was very happy and when you said what you said he couldn't help but laugh, "I love you so much." He nuzzles against your cheek, fins flapping happily.

Shifter: Well they were prepared for the kiss, but when you gave them the butterfly kiss instead, they blinked a few times. The colors of their eyeshines changed with each blink until they decided on pink and they smile wide, "Aw!" They latch onto you and nuzzle their face against yours, giggling, "You're so cute! Hehe, I'm so happy I found you." He starts to pepper 'kisses' over your face. Yeah, you didn't even get a chance to say what you wanted to say. Good luck.

Cuddles: He, on the other hand, would tense with his bones locking for a moment and look at you with big eyesockets. He just didn't expect you to go and do something like that and, for a moment, you saw a look of fear flash across his face. Quickly he shook his head then laughs and rests his head against your shoulder, "Well aren't you forward?" he coos then nuzzles into your neck, "Thank you… that's sweet of you." He's gonna think about this for a while most likely.

Pinks didn't really know what was happening when he was put into the tank. Y/n was a friend that he made… quite a bit ago; and today they came to his lake, telling him that they had something really big planned! They filled a tank with water from his pond and were able to get him into it, then they started to 'drive'. It was enjoyable to see all of the trees go rushing by, but they wouldn't really answer anything that he was asking.

Pinks trusted Y/n. He trusted them more than anyone else in the whole world. He knew that they wouldn't hurt him, right? There was no way that they would do anything to hurt him for whatever reason… right?

The longer the trip was lasting, the more worried he started to become. The tank was so small and dark. They had to cover it with a blanket so nobody would see him, but he was able to move it a little to peek out, seeing all of the things rush by. They were going so fast… the 'car' bounced sometimes, which caused some of the water to splash out, and they said that they were sorry about that.

He didn't think he minded too much; I mean, it's not like they did that on purpose. It was still shocking each and every time it happened, though. He lets the blanket drop back down and turns in the tank, looking towards the front, asking, "Y/n, where are we going? I'm starting to get kind of nervous…" He decided to be honest with them. He trusted Y/n, but he was still allowed to feel nervous about all of this! Where the heck were they going? 

"Well…" They start, looking forward, "Remember how we spoke about you going back to the ocean one day? I found the best place where we could let you go… you don't have to live in the little lake anymore." Y/n sounded so pleased when they said that. It was like they'd been thinking about this for a while.

Pinks blinks once, then twice, and his sockets widen when he hears that. He sits up more in his tank, the water brushing over his tail. It felt kind of gross since it had been out of the water for a little while. This tank really was way too small for him to stay in, as expected. "What? No, Y/n, I can't go back to the ocean. I've been… h-how would we get to see each other again? The ocean is so big!" He wouldn't know how to get around, how to hunt, and don't even get him started on the fact that there would most likely be things that would try to kill him.

Plus, he would be alone!

"I… don't know, but I'm sure we could work something out. Pinks, that lake isn't good for you, the food is running out. You need to go."

"But I don't want to! I'm happy when I'm around you," he cried. "Y/n, please, I don't want to go." He felt like he was going to have a panic attack. This isn't fair, they talked about it yes, but he thought they would plan it more together, not just… a spur of the moment type of deal. Y/n didn't respond, so he sank deeper into the water, letting out a whimper.

Soon enough the car stopped again and when he peeked out, he saw that they were back at his lake. He blinks once, then twice, and looks over at Y/n who walks over and moves the blanket fully. "I'm… sure we can figure out something else. I'm sorry Pinks." They looked upset with themselves, "I should have asked you before just doing it… forgive me?" they look up at him, their head turned to the side.

Mimic: he thinks that your tail is the coolest! He likes taking you down to the darker parts to see it glow… he does wanna know exactly what makes it glow… sometimes he would, honestly, use you as bait to catch fish lol. He won't let you get hurt, promise!

Ringer: He doesn't say, but he loves your tail. He likes how it glows and will honestly trace his fingers over the glowing parts any time that he can. He's not good at hiding his attention and attraction to it… he has a hard time ignoring glowing things.

Pinks: It really depends on if you're in the lake with him, or if he's in the ocean with you. If it's the second, then he's going to stick close to you. You've most likely lived so long even if you glow so you must know how to do some stuff, right? He sees your glow as a beacon of safety.

Chum: It calls you its love light. It glows as well, much brighter than you in almost the same color, which it finds amusing. It will always look for your glow and you two flash the glow back and forth which it finds really fun! That makes it feel less… scary.

Light: He loves your glow! He finds it sad that the only time he can really see it is if you guys go to a darker place, or if it's night time. He makes seeing your glow an excuse to go and see his brother too though which he really hopes you don't mind haha.

Deep: He sees you as a beacon of hope. You're a light in his darkness… even if everything around him is dark, you're always there to light it up. Sometimes he would turn off his own glow just so yours would shine even brighter… he doesn't know what he would do without you.

Cielo: He has a glow to him as well! He thinks that yours is really pretty though and he likes to see the difference. All space merfolk glow though so it isn't really that impressive ^^' I'm sorry.

Comet: Even if your glow is close to his brothers, he still thinks that yours is really pretty! He enjoys tracing his fingers along where the glow forms. He enjoys seeing your reaction, thinks it's cute.

Badar: It will hold you close everywhere you two go together. With how big it is, it feels like it needs to protect you from everything and everyone. As long as you're near it, you're protected. You're save. Nothing will ever happen to you.

Devil: Will show you off lol. Glowing is seen as a real damn impressive thing for his type of merfolk. You know, where he's from. A lot of people most likely wanted to date you, but he was the one that got it! Ha!

Tiger: Will also show you off, but is always courting you. He doesn't care that you two are already together, he's going to be giving you so many gifts, a lot of food, and anything else that he can think of. He loves you, and doesn't want a chance of you getting taken away from him.

Inker: The glow kinda annoys them sometimes… mostly when they're trying to get around and then they look over at you. Their eyes are very used to darkness so it is almost blinding… but other than that, they like it. They find it relaxing when they're not hunting and the faint glow is nice to sleep to…

Lover: Oh she thinks that you're just the cutest thing with your humming, and will often join in just to see your reaction. She thinks that it's one of the softest and cutest things in the world, and she loves that you do it. She enjoys using her words to tell you how much she loves you, but the humming just has so much to it that she can't help but join in... she always cuddles up to you whenever you do it, purring lightly. She normally doesn't purr much, which makes it even nicer!

Passion: He might act like it's no big deal, and sorta stupid, but he thinks it's really sweet that you do that to show your love and affection for him. It's easier to deal with than words, that's for sure. Sometimes he might even join in on your humming, but don't expect him to. He might just wave or brush you off but you could always tell that he's listening with how he perks up when you start and stop. He won't ever ask you to do it but sometimes he'll lean against you and let out his own little hum, hoping you would start it up as well.

Beau: He thinks that it is just the CUTEST thing in the world. He loves to listen to you hum and will often start to hum along with you, while latched onto you in a hug. If he's ever feeling sad, he goes to see you cause you always make him feel better... and listening to you hum while petting the top of his skull never stops making him feel better. He loves your attention and affection, and he's always telling you how much he loves you during those times. He wants you to know how much you matter to him.

Cupid: It always gets him to smile. He loves the fact that his datemate loves him so much to do that, and he would always tell you just how much he loves it, cause he never wants you to stop. Sometimes he worries but then he hears the humming and how you always smile at him and... he doesn't worry as much. He knows that his brother thinks that this relationship isn't gonna work out well, but hey! So far things have just been perfect and he isn't nervous at all. Plus... what's the worst that could happen? He would never kill you, and if anyone else tries haha... he would slaughter them.

Heartbreak: At first, he might not like it. The only reason being was cause he didn't really know how to react to it. In the underground nobody was ever exactly... loving. They did things to get sexual and were only cuddly rarely. It was something both of the brothers disliked for a while, Lover forgot that feeling but Heartbreak grew to fear it. So, with how full of love it is, he has no idea how to react! He might flinch away at the first few times but slowly he starts to listen more and it does help him relax and calm down and if you do it while they're cuddling? He honestly might cry. I'm warning you on this now.

Pinks: Humming and singing for sirens is either between flirting, or threatening. When he first hears you humming and singing, while petting his skull, he knows that it isn't from you trying to threaten him, and that makes him really happy. He starts to hum along with you, his sockets shut while his tail moved through the water. You were such a strange, yet amazing, human. Having you as his datemate makes him really happy.

Chum: Chum isn't based off one type of fish, but more a mix of a few different ones, so I can't show. Sorry!

Pinks knew that his datemate wouldn't leave him. They wouldn't just… leave him in the lake all alone, not again.

Right?

Then where were they? Why were they taking so long to get here? It's already been a few hours! They told him that they would be here by now.

With his worry he's been swimming around in the water quickly, his tail splashing out the pink water as he searched and listened for any sounds that could hint that they were here, or at least coming.

Pinks hated how sometimes he had no idea where they were. Since he was stuck in this stupid lake, he couldn't go with them and they couldn't stay, since they were human.

Sometimes he wondered what would happen if something happened to them and they couldn't come back to tell him. What if they died?! The thought made panic shoot through Pinks body and he climbs up, out of the water, sitting on a rock.

"Y/n!" he shouts into the forest around his lake.

All he could hear was the sounds of animals, mostly birds.

He lets out a little sound of distress, his tail flapping in the water and the tips of his fingers dug into the stone under him the best that they could.

Something happened to them, he knew that something happened to them. He needed to… he had to help them, but how could he help them? He was stuck in the lake and he had no idea where they were!

There was no chance that he would be able to get out far enough to find them before he dried out. Simple as that. He didn't like the idea of this, not at all.

While he was panicking he suddenly heard a voice. "Pinks! Hey, sorry I'm late!" then he saw his datemate. They were carrying a bag. "My work kept me after hours cause we needed to clean up for- hey, what are you doing?"

Pinks perks up looking at them with big sockets, then he gets a big smile on his face and he holds out his arms. "Y/n!" he does grabby hands, his eyes filling with soft pink tears which causes them to frown and they hurry over to him, sitting down and pulling him into a hug.

"Oh Pinks… I'm sorry, I didn't realize that you would get so upset" they start to pepper kisses over his skull. He holds onto them, clenching onto their clothing hiding his face into their chest. He needed to hold onto them. He needed to have them.

Chum: when they first met, Chum thought that you were one of the most wonderful and beautiful creatures in the world. You seemed so interesting, and he saw you even crash a ship! He swam over to help you move the ship to search through it, and you two started to talk. After that, he was caught like a fish in a net. He did anything that you wanted him to do, and anyone in the ocean that dared mess with you would soon meet a fate worse than any death that they could have wished for.

Pinks: She is also a siren! She finds the fact that she found another one really nice! It most likely happens after she gets back into the ocean from her lake, though. The second she saw you and heard your song; she started to swim around you quickly “I'm a siren too!” expect her to be very cuddly. Sirens need a lot of attention, and honestly, she's been 'locked' away for such a long time. In the back of her mind she knew that she was missing something but she was so happy to meet another siren that she didn't even think about it too much.

Oak: Well when he first met you, he had no idea what you were. He thought maybe you were another monster but you didn't quite look like what a monster should, and your soul was… strange. He avoided you at first, easy to do seeing as though he lived on a farm and you were in the ocean but after a bit, he goes to talk to you. He realizes that he really enjoys talking with you! Your song doesn't quite effect him all that much, there is that slight pull but his hearing isn't the best, so really, it's perfect!

Powder: You, honestly, caught his attention and he started to spy on you whenever he got the chance to. He was pretty sure that you knew that he was there, and if not, then oh well! He enjoyed seeing what you did. It took a bit for you two to really talk, and when they finally did, he realized that your siren song wouldn't work on him? Maybe it was because of his brother 'protecting' him, how sweet was that? You two talk a lot now, and he has a lot of fun bringing you human things so you could check it out. As long as you don't, you know, mess with him too much he won't get too bothered.
