You know... I wonder if the future of Overwatch’s lore progression of Vishkar might involve Vishkar’s partnership with Lumérico, followed by an uprising against Vishkar inspired by Lucio, which invites a need for Helix’s security services to protect their investments, thereby bringing Symmetra and Pharah a step closer, but since Lumérico was already sabotaged by Sombra, she might also take steps to bring Vishkar down a peg or two and release some information that exposes Vishkar’s bad dealings, sowing more chaos and maybe starting Symmetra on her first steps to distancing herself from the organization

In which Sombra infiltrates Talon effortlessly and sidelines their top fighters... only to do the opposite of what they expect in the end.
You wouldn’t really expect the best hacker in the world to be another loser that permanently runs on coffee... but Sombra honestly preferred it that way. That was one of the few things she could be honest about, after all. Stumbling upon the conspiracy hadn’t left her with a lot of options, so anything she said had to be carefully thought out, everything she did had to be done like handling a live bomb...
Exciting as it was, Sombra was beginning to get sick of it. Whoever was truly behind the conspiracy had some good software security, and they thought the girl snooping in on them had been destroyed. She couldn’t afford to have them learn the truth... which is how she wound up outside the main Talon base, waiting for her code to take effect and open the doors.
Sombra yawned, took another sip of her coffee, and waited for another minute or so before the doors slid open... and the alarm went off. She cursed under her breath, but then again... this was the one time she wanted to get noticed. If anyone asked, she’d simply had it go off on purpose. After placing a translocator outside, the hacker slid through the doors and proceeded towards the so-called ‘safe room’... but she didn’t get far.
Two steps later, gunfire rang out... but it was disturbingly inaccurate. The most embarrassing part - for the Talon agents firing at her - was that one of them had a bionic arm. All it took was a whispered ‘iniciando el hackeo’ for her to access the guy’s arm, and within a matter of seconds, he’d taken down his teammates... all on his own, no less.
Sombra wasted no time in taking his gun, then quickly dispatched him as well, and by sending the pain sensors on his arm into overdrive... ouch. It wouldn’t kill him (she hoped) but instead... let’s just say he wouldn’t be using it for a bit. None of his teammates would be walking for a while, either, but she’d made a point of firing non-lethal shots. The last thing she wanted to do was piss off MORE powerful people, after all.
Once the first group was taken down, nobody went after her... for a time. It was when she was nearing the safe room that things began to get dicey... or, in other words, some grim reaper wannabe had just started firing at her. The purple sniper didn’t exactly look friendly, either... so, with a devilish grin, she activated her Thermoptic Camo (it was times like these she was incredibly grateful to the doctors who’d kept her story from being cut short) and hightailed it out of the line of fire.
Needless to say, both the grim reaper wannabe and the purple sniper were pissed. Sombra grinned to herself as she sneaked right around them, silently hacked the keypad on the door, and let herself in. She wasn’t exactly sure what she’d been expecting from the leader of Talon... but she sure hadn’t been expecting this.
“Pitiful.” Sombra began, shaking her head. “Your security systems are more outdated than the old Blackwatch ones in Dorado.” This caught the leader’s interest, and although he quickly moved to call for backup, one motion from Sombra was all it took to lock the doors again.
“What do you want?” He asked. Sombra simply laughed in response. “Are you with-?” She only laughed harder.
“No, I’m not with Overwatch, cabrón. That group of idiots failed when it started... no, I’m here to join Talon.”
The leader couldn’t believe his ears.
“What?”
Sombra cracked a grin.
“Yeah, you heard me. Look, we can help each other. I hack security systems so your main people can do the killing, and you make sure I don’t get killed. Let’s just say... I’m almost as wanted as the man who calls himself Soldier 76.”
The leader instantly thought of LumériCo, and how a group of hackers had caused the company to implode... a group that went by the name ‘Sombra’. Perhaps the media had been wrong in attributing the hacking to a group.
“Are you-”
Sombra stuck out a gloved hand.
“Sombra, master hacker, at your service!”
Let’s just say that the purple sniper and the wannabe grim reaper weren’t too pleased to find out who the new recruit was... but nobody could deny that she was useful.
