We as believers have a hard time remembering we are not surrounded by Christians. They are not followers of Jesus and His word, yet, we expect them to act that way. We question everything they do, and not politely, but with the judgment of a thousand flames, and we wonder how they can think us hard-hearted and callous. Jesus knew He was in the midst of God-haters. And He didn't judge them for it. He simply told them about who He was, take Him or leave Him. If we are to follow Jesus' example, we have to remember to tell everyone about Jesus, not assume they follow Him, too. "When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, 'Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.' And he hurried and came down and received Him gladly. ...
