Simi Valley Narcs Arrest Third Drug Dealer this Week

On October 2, 2014, the members of the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) completed a three month long investigation into the sales of LSD to Simi Valley residents. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Luis Caceres, 29 yrs old, from Woodland Hills. SOU Narcotics Detectives and Officers served a search warrant at Caceres’ home in the 5000 Block of Oso Ave in Woodland Hills and recovered approximately 60 doses of LSD and other evidence of drug sales at the residence.

Caceres was arrested for Sales of LSD and Possession of LSD for Sale. He was booked at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Ventura Superior Court on October 6.

Caceres was the third drug dealer SVPD Narcotics Detectives arrested this week. On September 30, Kristy Parks was arrested for possession of heroin for sales and on October 1, Detectives arrested Kenneth Ball for possession of methamphetamine for sale. Parks was released from custody on her own recognizance on October 2, after appearing in court. Her next scheduled appearance is Nov 14 2014 at 1:30PM in Ventura County Superior Court- Court Room: 12. Ball remains in custody.
