It probably wasn't fair. It almost definitely wasn't fair. She liked Regulus - she really liked Regulus, but when she saw Ludo walk in and take up a seat not far from where they were currently, she couldn't not take full advantage of the situation. She sidled closer to him, laying a delicate hand on his arm, laughing just a touch louder at his words. She threw her braided hair over her shoulder, shaking her head playfully at a comment and taking the opportunity to hazard a passing glance at Ludo, whose eyes were trained on her. Perfect.
But as she turned back to Regulus, she didn't notice her ex get up and make his way toward them. Not until he was standing damn near right between them, and she was forced to pull her attention from Regulus to Ludo. Perhaps her ploy had worked a little too well, but she certainly wasn't going to complain. "Yes, Ludo?" She asked, as if tired of him already, but her eyes sparkled as she met his gaze, making it clear that his attention wasn't entirely unwelcome. "I'm sort of in the middle of something here." She continued, gesturing pointedly at Regulus and mouthing the word sorry to him, not wanting to give away just how pleased she currently was.
