I was spiralling through reserach because of the ffreak cirus and i found it interesting when i was like .. hmmm there using certain tropes for the roles and the i was on itch for a while browsing games and came across anothe r mask thing ...

so my point is...

THE FATUI HARBINGERS ARE USING MASKED ROLES FROM THEATRE WORK PARTICULARLY Commedia dell'arte,

With :

Il Capitano (The Captain): A self-styled war hero who is actually a massive coward. He brags about his many victories and ladies, but screams and runs at the first sign of danger.

Scaramouche (Scaramuccia): A hybrid role combining the Zanni (servant) and the Capitano. He is a "little skirmisher" who is clever and artistic—often carrying a lute—but he is also a boastful buffoon who is frequently beaten off stage by Harlequin for his cowardice.

Tartaglia: A high-status role (often a lawyer or notary) defined by a severe stutter. His social anxiety and speech impediment provide the "lazzi" (rehearsed comic bits) for his scenes.

Columbina (The Clever Maid): Often the smartest person on stage, she is a sharp-witted servant who facilitates the plot, helps lovers, and outsmarts the older characters. She typically does not wear a mask, allowing for full facial expression.

Arlecchino / Harlequin (The Trickster): A nimble, acrobatic servant in a colorful diamond-patterned suit. He is often hungry and driven by physical needs, alternating between brilliance and idiocy.

Pantalone (The Old Merchant): A wealthy, greedy, and often lecherous old man who serves as the foil or master to the servants. He is frequently the target of pranks.

Pulcinella: A dual-natured character who can be either a master or a servant. He is a cynical self-preservationist, often portrayed with a humpback and a long, hook-nosed mask.

La Signora is a high-status "Vecchi" (elder/master) or "Innamorati" (lover) variant who is often the foil to younger, more innocent female characters. She is always overdressed, adorned with too many jewels, flowers, feathers, and ribbons, and wears heavy makeup.

Sandrone  He is a clever, crude, and cunning peasant who acts as a spokesman for the humble, ill-treated commoners. He is often hungry and uses tricks to make ends meet.

Recently I was shopping with my friend-group, when my crush and I found a dress that i loved. It was one of those tent-market-shop-thingies where the seller decides the price and stuff. It was originally (and for me) 35 bucks, but my crush was told that she could have it for 25. The other day her drink was free in the restaurant we went to.

Before all that I thought that I was decently pretty, but now i’m just feeling insecure. As a result I’m now extra feminine and putting extra care into how i look when i go out.

Hello! (please don’t publish this, i only want you to see this, and i couldn’t post photos through anon asks) I really love your artstyle and i felt inspired by it, so i tried practising by drawing a Lucy next to your Lucy. I think you’re really good at drawing bodies, all my bodies look the same, so i wanted to understand better how you drew them, so i tried using some of your drawings as reference.
