🖊Luaineach’s theme originally was ghosty/spooky/maybe ghost hunter, and I still have no damn idea how to actually do that storywise (or in matters of fashion wars, beyond the haunted rifle), so who knows what outfit and lore I’ll yeet at him next? I certainly don’t, send help

🖊Illysme, who goes by Lilly for a nickname, has never gotten an ask directed at her, so! She’s my sweet mostly-manic-pixie, and a little bit dream girl ADHD firecracker! She’s beyond nosy, has little to no sense of private space, scoots from hyperfixation to hyperfixation at light speed and leaves glitter in her wake! She travels a lot, always needing a new experience, a new sight. I have 2 eles who each specialise in 2 elements, and Lilly’s are air and water~

🖊Vefry is one of my personal favourites, I gotta admit. I’m really proud of his look, and the general feeling of him. He survived serious abuse by the hands of the Inquest and has been fighting to feel at home in his body, and not like a monster, ever since. Which is hard, because they literally turned his blood and sap to a poison strong enough to injure anyone who touches him (because he’s oozing the stuff as well.) But through all of that he keeps a smile, and if isolated, is friendly and generous to anyone new! I really admire him, and want him to be happy.

🖊Siocáir doesn’t get a lot of attention either, but he’s such an interesting character to me because his is the whole conflict of “do selfish means devalue good deeds?” and I really wonder if he’ll ever meet someone he can truly, deeply care about as an individual, not just part of a friend group. Plus, he’s a knight without a cause at the moment!

26. Guilty Pleasure

Cats. He hates showing vulnerability, but those fluff balls really make him weak, especially the needlessly friendly one. Cats don’t care how many people you killed!

41. What’s their morning routine like?

Get up, make coffee (black, no sugar), drink it in bed while you read a chapter. After that, washing with cold water and then on to whatever is to be done today. Luain is a duskbloom, so unless he’s strict with himself like that, he doesn’t get out of bed at all until the afternoon.

47. What was this character’s biggest turning point in their life, something that changed them almost completely?

His closest friend died in front of him at the hands of a largos assassin, which taught Luaineach the hard way that anything can be taken from you at any time, unless you have nothing that can be taken. Furthermore, it’s better to take than be taken from, and if you don’t take the job, someone else will.

48. What was their lowest point? What was their highest point?

If they were any, Luain would barely recognize them, since he has the introspection level of a moldy rock. But waiting out in a secluded spot for an indefinite time and then finally, pulling the trigger at the perfect moment in the entirety of time itself, killing a large target with one shot… it gives him a certain satisfaction he wouldn’t like to admit to.

More dice-throwing, babey! Sorry, that’s not really “choice”, but it’s more fun for me this way, forces me to think about something else than the “easy options” v.v I’ll try to spread it evenly, though!

🐢 - What type of animal would they keep for a pet? ✴ Luaineach

You’d think he’d want something quiet and elegant like a snake, but he really just wants something cute to ease his eyes and mind a little. I’d imagine a cat who loves to curl up on his lap (it makes him feel very special) or just a pair of fluffy bunnies. He’d be like “tch… pathetic, vulnerable creatures, so fragile” and then one of his pets would roll on its back and present its belly for a rub and for a moment he’d just stare at it trying not to cry because they trust him so much.

📓 - If your character keeps a journal, what is the most secret thought they keep in it? ✴ Siocáir

Siocáir is barely literate, if you forced him to read a whole book, you’d have to revive him after. He does however have a little sylvan puppy called Lancelot whom he takes everywhere, and when he sets up camp for the night he tells her of his day, like a journal. The most vulnerable thought he has entrusted her with is that often he doesn’t actually care very much about the people he saves, or calls his friends. It scares him, so you won’t hear him telling anyone else.

💡 - What is the best idea your character ever had? ✴ Vefry

It’s a little difficult to pin down “best idea,” but Vefry is pretty thankful for the scientific process that led to discovering an antidote to his poisonous “blood.” The toxine coats his skin and oozes out of his ribcage sometimes, and after meeting Illysme and even considering something like a romantic relationship he began developing a substance that neutralizes it, if injected once a day.He skips the injection on days he knows he’ll spend fighting - the poison doesn’t hurt him, and anyone who thinks to stab him is in for a nasty surprise.The same project gave him the idea to experiment whether his nutrition influences the effects of his poison.

🖊Honestly, I don’t know what to tell you, I’m so sorry. Luaineach has been so freaking popular I can’t think of anything immediately which I haven’t told already. In time there’ll be more, but for now just take this screenshot!

🖊Zaz is an odd kind of dawnsprout, he’s great at telling good people from bad people at first sight, but his communication is… a bit blunt. I imagine he first randomly encountered Rosfariel at a fest in the grove, ended up standing next to her during an act, and just went, “Hey. If anyone gives you shit… I will cut them.” So yeah, not that smart communication wise, but he cares so much with that brilliant brain of his, and wholeheartedly views himself as Vefry’s older brother, and also Illysme’s by extension, because the family of his family is also his family, and he’d do anything to protect them.

🖊 Al, my Commander, has just been through so much shit via anet’s storyline, but they don’t run from that, even if they’re miserable. Their father used to be an alcoholic, not violent, but it shaped their family and childhood nevertheless, so drinking to forget isn’t an option. At the same time they can’t really look their companions in the eyes with all the guilt they feel, so they barely have anyone to talk to. Someone new should pick them up and care for them,, I’ve been thinking about making Eljirah be that someone, but I’m unsure.

✴Orethain:“There’s beauty in the fragility that overtakes the forest.”

✴Luaineach: “The fresh air helps me focus. Precision with a rifle is all about breathing, and autumn air makes that easy.”

Bronze - What is your favorite way to warm up when it’s cold?

✴Orethain: “I barely feel the cold anymore, so I don’t need to warm up, either.”

✴Luaineach: “Blankets, and a book. A fireplace, if one is available.”

Army - Do you have a fighting style? If so, what is it?

✴Orethain:“It’s not much of a style. I make sure I live and they die.”

✴Luaineach: “If there is a fight at all,I’m doing my job wrong.”

Cream - Do you prefer Tea, Coffee, or Cocoa?

✴Orethain:“Tea. Lemon is my favourite.”

✴Luaineach: “Coffee is the most necessary.”

Smoke - Have you ever taken any drugs?

✴Orethain:“I’ve had wine.”

✴Luaineach: “A cigar, once. It was disgusting.”

Ash - Is there something or someone from your past that you miss?

✴Orethain:“Not in the long run. Unless… perhaps, the Grove. It shouldn’t be forbidden to any of its children, and yet.”

3. When speaking to themselves in their mind, how do they refer to themselves?

✴Alaritheis mostly goes by “Commander” or “Commander Alaritheis” in their mind since when they talk to themselves it’s usually to pull themselves together. Don’t be silly, Commander, quit it with the whining, Commander, think real hard, Commander, and so on.

✴Luaineach just uses his full name, cause he’s no damn fun.

10. Do they enjoy sitting on countertops?

✴Alaritheis loves it. Anywhere not made for sitting? Perfect place to set up camp. They even feel a little giddy like they’re doing something forbidden.

✴Luaineach much prefers his feet on the ground, whether standing, kneeling, or in a normal chair.

38. Do they prefer salty or sweet things?

Alaritheis and Luaineach both prefer sweet! Al has a ridiculously sweet tooth, Luaineach just feels salty makes his mouth dry, and that distracts him.

39. Do they get the urge to jump from high places?

✴Alaritheis has long gotten used to owning a glider and now with Bling, yes, definitely. On a darker note, falling to one’s doesn’t seem like a horrible outcome anymore anyway - of course they strongly prefer to live, but high places have lost their scare.

✴Luaineach does feel the urge unrelated to flight, the whole l’apell du vide is just quite strong with him, perhaps because he craves something out of his control?

49. How would they respond to their ears ringing for an extended period of time?

Both of them would go see a doctor after a minute - Al because they get pissed off by such nuisances and are quite impatient, and Luaineach because he needs to know if his rifle is responsible and thus needs a repair.
