M42 The Orion Nebula
This images was taken on iTelescope T8, a Takahashi FSQ 106mm scope coupled to a FLI microline camera. It is comprised of Luminescence, Red, Green and Blue exposures, each of 5 minutes. The FITS files were first processed in ESA’s Fits Liberator before processing in Photoshop CC.
The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula situated in the Milky Way, being south of Orion's Belt in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky. M42 is located at a distance of 1,344 ± 20 light years and is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth. The M42 nebula is estimated to be 24 light years across. It has a mass of about 2000 times the mass of the Sun. Older texts frequently refer to the Orion Nebula as the Great Nebula in Orion or the Great Orion Nebula.
NGC 7293 The Helix Nebula.
Taken on August 1st 2017 using T33 (iTelescope), this image is a LRGB composite with each frames exposure being 300s for a total exposure time of 20 minutes.
The Helix Nebula is an example of a Planetary Nebula (PN) and was created when the old dying star shed it’s outer layers of gas but did not go supernova. This is the type of fate our local star, the Sun will experience in a couple of billion years time.
M22,created using the same technique as for the other LRGB images, although I am not entirely happy with this image I though I would post it anyway. The problem I have is that the blue frame is far too prominent, evident by the blueish halo, something I will try to adjust at a later time.
Messier 22 (also known as M22 or NGC 6656) is an elliptical globular cluster in the constellation Sagittarius, near the Galactic bulge region. It is one of the brightest globulars that is visible in the night sky.
NGC 253 - The Sculptor galaxy
This is a 20 combined LRGB (4 x 300s) exposure with the opacity of the luminescence frame set at 33%, I don’t think it dissolves any colour from the image at that level.
The Sculptor Galaxy is located at the centre of the Sculptor Group, one of the nearest groups of galaxies to the Milky Way. The Sculptor Galaxy (the brightest galaxy in the group and one of the intrinsically brightest galaxies in the vicinity of ours, only surpassed by the Andromeda Galaxy and the Sombrero Galaxy[) and the companion galaxies NGC 247, PGC 2881, PGC 2933, Sculptor-dE1, and UGCA 15 form a gravitationally-bound core near the centre of the group. Most other galaxies associated with the Sculptor Group are only weakly gravitationally bound to this core. NGC 253 is about 11.4Mly away.

The globular cluster M3 imaged in LRGB.
The calibration and preprocessing was done using Nebulosity 4 and post processing in Adobe Photoshop CC2019. The image is comprised of
6 x 300s Luminescence, 6 x 300s Red, 6 x 300s Green and 6 x 300s Blue files giving a total integration of 2 hours.
I have noted some red marking in the image, I suspect this is because of a bad red frame that I missed during processing. This is my first attempt of LRGB that I effectively worked. I will post my method for aligning and calibration separately.
