Tonight I was surrounded by strangers that shared some of the same deepest emotions I lock up. All brought together by one person. Chester Bennington. It's been two weeks since the passing of Chester and I still feel really deeply about it. I still think about Chester every day and I listen to the records I used to listen to when I was in middle school. I truly forget sometimes that he is gone when I hear his beautiful screams and when I'm singing along with him in my car. I'm really happy to hear an amazing artist capable of singing/screaming so godlike. But in reality I still can't believe you are gone. Still heartbroken. Still hurts to think of the people close to you, close to me, that are affected by it. No matter, you left us an unforgettable and awesome legacy. Your demons may have taken you, but we are left here with an angel. You inspired thousands and touched so many of our souls throughout these years. You've protected people on the edge of breaking with your music. And without a doubt you have pushed me to chase after an amazing voice like yours and persevere. One last time, Rest In Peace Chester. I hope you can see us all now showing you how much we love you and care about you. Thank you so much for giving us all you had.
