I suppose it wouldn’t be odd, in that you are certainly not the first to say so. Still... I do not wish to disappoint anyone, but I’m afraid I do not think of Kincaid that way.

Kincaid is my bodyguard. He goes where I go, and that includes on shopping trips.
I have a feeling he will enjoy a sporting goods store a good deal more than he does boutiques. At least then he will be able to go look at rifles or somesuch while I try sports bras on.

No, not weird at all. Kincaid might scoff and say Mr. Pitt does not hold a candle to him… but I would say that, from that description, such a mental image makes sense.

…why do people keep asking this of me? The relationship between Kincaid and myself is a familial professional one, and I would not have it any other way.
How do you feel about Jared Kincaid?
A superb guard who has consistently gone above and beyond in his duties as long as he has been in my employ. He has been by my side as long as I have been alive; my own unique circumstances presented a somewhat unusual set of job requirements for him—cooking, for instance, and tying pigtails—and he has borne them all without complaint. I could not recommend Kincaid highly enough, but for the chance that someone else might hire him.
He is also, for all intents and purposes, the closest thing to a father I have ever had, and I cannot help but wish it were true. That way of thinking is as unprofessional as it is dangerous, but… I cannot help it.
