I was using one of my mum’s old bags today (bear in mind, I have used this bag before) and I opened a buttoned up bit and found a piece of paper and receipt. 

I thought nothing of it at first and oh boy, was that my big mistake! On closer inspection I realised this piece of paper and receipt hadn’t seen the light of day for...

20 years! Twenty!!

I mean just... look.

(the receipt is on paper so it hasn’t faded away).

And the piece of paper? It was a voucher!

I mean... it’s only twenty years and 10 days out of date, they’ll still accept it right?

Like, my parents must have loved that place! (To which they both don’t remember going but we know for sure my mum went ‘cause it’s her bag :P)

They loved it so much they kept the voucher yet, never went back in 1997 or got the 1998 leaflet or free entrance ticket! Which is a real shame... Considering it was so expensive for two adults to get in...

Or not, it’s nice to see it cost £13 when nowadays.... The place doesn’t even exist! 

I did a bit of research and found this 2002 forum. It seems it came under financial difficulty, changed it’s name to Lowther Parklands and then, I presume, it closed down.

Which is quite sad but I loved finding this and doing research on it! :P
