I look forward to finishing The Mortal Instruments honestly just to get it behind me and then move onto The Dark Artifices because so many folks say that is the very best one. I also want to get to Last Hours series too. SO MANY BOOKS OH MY GOD.

I think the major reason is because I dislike Sebastian. And I know he is the villain and the person I should dislike, but he isn’t a good villain to me, so I just get annoyed with him even being in the books and hated pretty much all scenes with Clary, Jace, and Sebastian in them. Um, I also was not there for that assault scene. That was so unnecessary. I can’t understand the need for it to be in the book. If it was to show how awful Sebastian was, that wasn’t needed. We already know how awful he is. So yeah, I am glad I am done with it and am so excited to get back to the Infernal Devices with Clockwork Princess.

I also appreciate the forgiveness thing. I don’t know that I would ever forgive like that. I mean, with her memories being taken away, I can see where he can forgive her because she isn’t that person anymore. I love the rehabilitation part of it. I hold grudges though, so you know.

Also, Turton likes to use the phrase "either side" a lot.
