Armand genuinely loves her and considers her a friend. It actively hurts him not to tell her that he's become a vampire and she was so sweet and worried for him when he was dying. I think they have a real connection and I'd love to see more fic explore their relationship, particularly in the post-canon era.

This one I’ve had sitting half finished in my drafts for FOREVER and it’s a prompt fill for priapus!! I forget the exact wording but it was basically that Louis fucks Lestat during that time in totbt when Lestat begs him to turn him.

“It’s you who I want, Louis. If you’re so determined that I experience the pleasures of the flesh then show me through the bite! Show me through your blood! Through this unity we can be one again, as we were always meant to be.” I was running my fingers over his cheek and jaw now, his grip on me still unyielding.

“Lestat…” He trailed off, and released me with a sigh. “I can’t. Or rather, I won’t. I refuse to damn you once more. Don’t you see this as the miraculous opportunity that it is?”

“Damned. Is that what you think I am? What you are?” I leaned forward, my lips ghosting over his. “Don’t you realize that I’ve had my happiest moments with you, in this body? The thought of not reciting Shakespeare to you in these very chairs in fifty, one hundred, one thousand years makes my mortal stomach churn with dread. The only way you can damn me is to not allow me to spend eternity with you.” I closed the distance between us, his cold colorless lips against mine. The knowledge that he must be starving for life sent a thrill of desire down my spine.
