wait… will we talk about the fact that the location of the Lovers Lake in the trailer of the documentary? you can see a boat on the left. it wasn’t in the series. why is everyone crying? what’s going on? I’m losing my mind...

(I don't know, maybe someone already said this, MY BAD FOR BEING SLOW 😭😭 but I still need to put this out there! And believe me, I'm not here to convince anyone that Mike and Will are going to Lovers Lake. That's a given.)

Okay, so I was rewatching the Stranger Things teaser for the billionth time, looking for any crumbs... Think I might have spotted something?? So we all remember that photo from Ross Duffer's Instagram right? 

Honestly, when I saw it, I didn't think it could be a scene prop. I thought it was just some notes for the crew on set (sorry I'm not great with the terminology, but I hope you get what I mean lol) But what if it IS an actual prop from a scene...? Hear me out.

We're all aware that in this shot, everyone is listening to Will, right? Right.

Every time I watched the trailer with this moment, I never paid any attention to the wall next to Will. I just thought it was a plain, ordinary wall, lol.

NO. There's something hanging there. Something that looks like... a map? 

And on that 'map' on the wall, you can kinda make out shapes... outlines. Could that be for example the outline of a LAKE?

Unfortunately, the quality is really bad, and we don't have a clear shot of that wall (hehe I wonder why?) but I think you get what I'm talking about. We know that Will and Mike are most likely going to be at Lovers Lake because the teaser showed us they both have wet hair.

BUT what I'm curious about is HOW they arrive at the decision to go there together.

WHAT IF... (for example during this very presentation Will is giving) Will explains the plan and says he's going to Lovers Lake (initially planning to go alone), but Mike won't let him. He refuses to let him go alone and insists on going with him. I SWEAR I need Lucas, sitting next to Mike, to give the biggest side-eye in that moment.
